After a mysterious group of individuals breaks into Laura's home and attempts to steal her eight-year-old son, David, the two of them flee town in search of safety. Breaut soon after the failed kidnapping, David becomes extremely ill, suffering from increasingly sporadic psychosis and convulsions. Following her maternal instincts to save him, Laura commits unspeakable acts to keep him alive but soon, she must decide how far she is willing to go to save her son.

Very good

I'd have given it a better score if if weren't for the low audio and higher music which I know is done on purpose to get the jumps (and it works) but I was struggling to hear at times especially when people are talking and movie music is over it. So have the control at hand so you can turn volume up and down when and if needed. Apart from that it's a solid film that's all I will say so I don't give any spoilers away. Great acting and it does draw you in.

Way better than expected and reviewed

Was really impressed by this movie. Andi is a new scream queen. It was slept on during its release but I have a feeling this will have a cult following in the years to come.

Interesting concept but falls flat as a movie.

Acting is great with some decent tension built along the way. Ultimately though, these pieces aren't enough to hold this together for a good film, but it comes close. Production, directing, and acting are all high quality. The largest problem is that this isn't a new concept, this didn't add anything to the genre, and the plot "twists" could be seen very easily and readily. Overall, I enjoyed watching even though I felt let down. .

Slow and Predictable

The acting was actually pretty good by most of them. BUT!! The storyline was very slow and very predictable!!!

Anecdotes
In the restaurant scene David made a sword with six blades out of plastic straws. This might be a reference to the six of swords in tarot that holds a visual and metaphorical meaning similar to the movies plot.

Gaffes
When Laura speaks to the hospital doctors, there is a US flag on the desk between them. It seems to rotate through 90 degrees, depending whether it is seen from their perspective or hers.
