From the likes of Amitabh Bachchan to Varun Dhawan, several celebrities have been bestowed with the honour of singing the national anthem at a public platform. Another one to join the bandwagon is Richa Chadha. The actress has been invited to sing the National Anthem at a sports league in Delhi.

Though details have been kept under wraps, a source said that Richa Chadha has been invited to be present at the inaugural ceremony of the sport’s league slated to take place on July 27th 2016. She will be flying to the capital for the same.

Richa will be next seen in Cabaret and Love Sonia which also stars Demi Moore and Freida Pinto.

The actress has been invited to sing the National Anthem at a sports league in Delhi.

Though the details of the same have been kept under wraps, we hear that Richa Chadda has been invited to be present at the inaugural ceremony of the league which will be on July 27. She will be flying to the capital and we hear that she is extremely humbled by this opportunity. Last seen in Sarbjit, the actress is known for films like Fukrey and Gangs Of Wasseypur.

As of now, Richa Chadda is not only gearing up for Bollywood releases like Cabaret but will also be seen in the international film Love Sonia which also stars Demi Moore and Freida Pinto.

Richa Chadha, who was last seen in Omung Kumar's Sarbjit, is now doing her first ever cross-over International Film. The Indo-American project is directed by Tabrez Noorani. The untitled project will focus on human trafficking. Along with Richa Chadha, Frieda Pinto is also the part of the film. Hollywood actress Demi Moore, best known for her roles in Ghost and Striptease, will also star in a special role. The film will be extensively shot in L.A and in Hong Kong. It is produced by David Womark, who has also produced Oscar nominated movie Life of Pi. Meanwhile, Richa Chadha will be seen in a new avatar in Pooja Bhatt's Cabaret.

Richa Chadda starrer musical Cabaret which was to release in May was later postponed, followed by which there were several speculations about the delay. However putting an end to all the rumours was producer Pooja Bhatt. Pooja Bhatt took to Twitter to clarify and stated the reason for the delay of Cabaret saying, "Much speculation about the release of @cabaretthefilm & rightly so.Truth is my copyright has been violated on the film & we are fixing that. All my films get a dignified release.Will not permit @CabaretTheFilm to debut unless All players put their supposed clout & might behind it." Directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, Cabaret also stars Gulshan Devaiah, former crickter Sreesanth among others.

Until yesterday, two films backed by the music giant T-Series viz. Sarbjit and Cabaret were set to release withing a week of each other of May 20 and May 27 respectively. However, now we hear that the release of the latter which features Richa Chadha playing the glitzy role of a cabaret dancer has been postponed. In fact Cabaret that is directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi will now release on June 10. Apparently reports floating in the media indicate a creative difference that arose between the makers of the film based on its promotions. However, we guess that since both the films Sarbjit and Cabaret are backed by a common production house, differing one to release on a later date makes more box office business sense, since each of the releases will have their whole share of the market rather than cannibalize on a shared territory. The versatile actress Richa Chadha will soon be seen on screen portraying different roles in her upcoming movies Cabaret, Sarbjit and Love Sonia.

Richa Chadha started shooting for Love Sonia on Friday. It is David Womark’s Indo-American production starring the veteran actor Anupam Kher alongside Richa Chadha.

Richa said, “I am super excited to be a part of this film. It’s a challenging part and I am nervous about how I will be able to cope. But the team is very nice and I am positive.”

Love Sonia is a movie based on the bitter reality of human trafficking that exists across the globe. The movie is scheduled to be shot in Los Angeles and Mumbai and is directed by Tabrez Noorani.

The film directed by Rohit Pathak is a heart-warming story of a struggling filmmaker who has an unlikely connection with a young boy who hails from a remote village in Up. Although they both have nothing to do with each other in the beginning, a chance meeting between the two makes them both unknowingly relevant to each lives.
