Avis à la une
Timeless and arousing with seductive cinematography
I made an imdb account just to warn you. This movie is a waste of time and the positive reviews are from bots or are fake.
How the other reviewers find this 10/10 is beyond me. It seems like the ratings are false. I give it 6/10 and thats quite high according to me.
Its a nice movie, slow and, dreamy. Some acting is ok others is not so much.
In short, a simple, short and low-budget movie with a nice feel to it.

Sick a waste of money that I paid to watch us with high expectations. The filmmaking was simply too bad below standard Of today's film. It's not even about the budget of the movie but the it was directed to overall making just terrible. Storyline had potential but a blunder. This ain't a sci-fi folks.
Apologies for the confusion earlier. As of 2018, "Lucid" is a British independent film directed by Adam Morse. It follows the story of a young man named Zel, played by Laurie Calvert, who discovers he has the ability to lucid dream.
The film dives into Zel's struggle with narcolepsy and his unique ability to control his dreams. As he delves deeper into the world of lucid dreaming, Zel finds solace and a sense of freedom from his reality, exploring his desires and fantasies within his dreams.
"Lucid" explores themes of self-discovery, escapism, and the blurred lines between dreams and reality. It employs visually captivating sequences to portray the fantastical dream world juxtaposed with Zel's challenges in the waking world due to his narcolepsy.
Laurie Calvert delivers a compelling performance as Zel, capturing the character's vulnerability and desire for control over his life. The film's narrative, though at times disjointed, offers an intriguing concept that explores the human psyche and the power of dreams.
Despite its limited release and relatively low-budget production, "Lucid" presents an ambitious and thought-provoking take on the complexities of dreams and the human mind, making it an interesting watch for fans of independent cinema and those intrigued by the concept of lucid dreaming.

Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesLaurie Calvert spent an entire summer in character for 'Zel' during the lead up to principle photography, the crew did not meet Calvert as himself until the wrap party.
Laurie spent the whole shoot deep in character, Director Adam Morse instructed the crew to only address Calvert by his character's name 'Zel.
Laurie moved into the home of Director Adam Morse to prepare for the role of Zel, he isolated himself from family/friends and turned his phone onto "Do not Disturb" mode for a month so that he could get inside the head of a depressed introvert.
- GaffesAt 39:54 when Kat drives her car past Zel, the car enter from the right, travels left and most of the car moves off screen. You can see where the driver stopped the car too early and the tail light is still visible on the now stationary vehicle. The sound effect depicts a car driving further away.
