I've seen every "paranormal" show there is, some are better than others, for example: "Ghost Hunters" used to be the best, while anything with Zak Bagans is the worst.
Most of the shows where the victims just tell the story and/or there are re-enactments, are usually not very scary, although, "A Haunting," is pretty scary.
But, this show has two, very likable and believable hosts, scary settings, depend mostly upon EVPs and "things that go bump in the night."
I enjoy this one.
I'd really like to know what the title song is and who does it.

Let me say first off that I enjoy the show and have seen every episode in the past two seasons. The stars are likable and the whole concept of spending three days in the same venue is an interesting idea, but, seriously folks ''talking to the dead through means of a geo box?'' It's absolutely preposterous. If it was a legitimate invention, its creator would be hailed as the greatest inventive mind in modern times. But, of course, he isn't because it's just another silly gimmick. When they ''talk'' to the spirits through this device, it's absolutely cringe-worthy. The geo-box will hopefully disappear in season three. Please make it go away.

I do genuinely enjoy this show, it's really entertaining and I do also believe in the paranormal. What makes me sceptical though, is that the voice box recordings seem to be in an American accent and use American wording. Why would a spirit in an old hospital in Liverpool UK use the word 'closet'??

I LOVE the show! It's a great idea to have a 72 hour lock down. So much more time to investigate. I've watched Ghost Adventures from the start but with every season, I've seen Zac's ego grow bigger and bigger and it's made it hard to watch anymore. I've always liked Nick. I think he seems very humble and the real deal. I hope the show gets great ratings and is on for a long time. The investigations so far have been incredibly interesting and I've been amazed at the evidence they have come up with during each investigation. I look forward to each show. I am not sure who sang the song for the introduction, but really great song as well! #team Nick and Katrina! :)

This show is one of the best yet. I have followed ALL paranormal / ghost investigating shows for over a decade now. This show draws you into each location with a 72 hr lock down. Nick from Ghost Adventures and Katrina from Paranormal State are gutsy investigators. Their experience in the field is evident. Skilled at collecting evidence. Always looking forward for Friday to get here to watch the next episode. After viewing the last episode "Kreischer Mansion"[8]...btw. which was awesome, I am anxious to know if there will be a season 2. Keeping fingers crossed that there will be. Great job Nick and Katrina you guys are the bomb!!
There is so much to enjoy about Paranormal Lockdown. From the opening credits, I was hooked. Not only is the song haunting, but the images are so beautifully stylistic that you can't help but be ushered into the world this show is creating. If you're a fan of paranormal investigation, you've no doubt watched other shows where you squint into the grainy, green hued night vision, desperately trying to make out shadows and anomalies. Paranormal Lockdown has taken this to the next level with their crystal clear 6K cameras. The images are so crisp and bright that it took me a couple of minutes to realize I was looking at night vision images. And I haven't even gotten to the best part yet. Nick and Katrina are two of my favorite P.I.'s. I thoroughly enjoyed their past work on Ghost Adventures and Paranormal State respectively. I was so pleased with their on screen chemistry and the no-fuss, non-gimmicky style that they established right off the bat. This show is about paranormal investigation and documenting legitimate evidence. It's as clear and simple as that. And it's really fun to watch. Looking forward to many more episodes and lots of new groundbreaking evidence!

Tbh, I always have a hard time with shows like this. I'm a believer, but there is so much fake stuff and fake people out there it's disgusting. I started with ghost adventures and realized how terrible that and Zak is, and was happy to see nick made his own. I like it, it's good intertainment, nick and Katrine is polite and nice people with a healthy respect for what they do, but if it's fake I can't really say.. anyway, it's quite good and I wish they would make more shows, instead of the ego filled Hollywood show with Zak.. I'll watch nick anyday instead - it's a very interesting subject and I think many people do enjoy it!

Being a sensitive, I really enjoy watching this show. I really like the way Nick and Katrina investigate compared to other shows I have seen over the years. I really hope there is another season (#3) because I know many people that also loved watching their show, much better than others. Thank you

The main host is Nick Groff. Nick learned at the feet of Zac Bagans, who is not a paranormal investigator of any kind, and not a good showman. Nick's overuse of hackneyed cliches, trying to look cool and be some sort of paranormal superhero, is very hard to watch. It's so obvious he's trying to come off as badass.
But Katrina seems serious about her craft, and I don't understand why she's on his show and not her own. She's a much better as an investigator, in my opinion, and doesn't exaggerate everything. She's also empathetic with the living and the dead, and doesn't treat what she does solely as a form of entertainment, but rather trying to help people.
They've gotten some really interesting evidence and some amazing contact, and it's unnecessary to go overboard trying to make it more exciting. It's already exciting, and better when it's real.
I wish Nick had left Zac Bagans, and also left his "style" behind when he went out on his own. Instead it seems he took all the worst parts of Zac's ridiculous stunts, and has incorporated them into his show in a slightly different way. I'm waiting for him to get "possessed" like Zac does in every episode of his show.
Something else that bothers me is his constant mansplaining to Katrina. I know they explain what equipment they're using in every episode, so people who may be new and haven't watched previously will understand, but that's not what I'm talking about.
I'm referring to almost every time Katrina explains something, whether it's about some evidence they've captured or some history they've learned about a location, Nick will repeat exactly what she's just said back to her, but in slightly different terms as if he's giving her new information. It's just annoying af.
Also, he does a LOT of I, me, my when narrating or talking to the camera, as if he's the only one doing any of the investigating. And the way they're listed on the show is, ttderhe's the Host and Katrina is the co-host. Why aren't they both listed as co-hosts? It's all about ego.
I don't understand all the adoration for Nick in these reviews. He's not a bad guy, but he seems much more about entertaining than investigating and getting answers, or helping people.
I wish Katrina and Heather Taddy would get a show, with Michelle Belanger on every episode as the team medium. And I know Travel the Dead is on YouTube, and it's good, but I mean a show on regular television. I would watch every episode.

A fabulously unique take on ghost hunting which is so refreshing. Half the show isn't eaten up by pointless interviews, or demons or ego trips, or "possessions". Nick and Katrina do what any decent ghost hunters should do, and go far and wide for their hunts. I was gob-smacked when they investigated the Black Monk house. GA is only still popular because of Zaks following of girls and guys that find him attractive. Congrats Nick and Katrina, this show is great.

I'm very skeptical regarding this kind of shows, but this one impressed me more than once.
Nick is the sensitive one and the one who's in contact with stuff happening around him.
Katrina is, unfortunately a waste of space here, she only sleeps during the nights, all covered up and nothing happens to her (why is she here in the first place at all).
There are some tools they use, that leave me even more skeptical, like the geo box for instance... that always make me smile in disbelief... but, the way the show is handled, the credibility of Nick and situations, makes me give this one a high rate.

The Shepton Mallet Prison UK episode has a back ground noise of crickets.......we do not have crickets singing at night in the UK......total fail at credibility from the outset.

I am sooo disappointed in Nick. He did well in Ghost Adventures and working with Zacks crew. I am a huge fan of that show! But seeing Nick go from that to this is a huge disappointment. He went backwards in my opinion. To me, this show is faker than fake. I find myself watching it just to talk about how ridiculous it is! As I watch the show I'm thinking to myself "are you serious?, really??, how much unreal could you be?" I cannot staaaaaaand Katrina. I can't stand the tone of her voice, I can't stand the way she talks, I can't stand the way she does anythiiiiing. She needs to find another hobby other than investigating the paranormal! Nick onthe other hand needs to reconcile with Ghost Adventures.
Now, the show. I do like the fact that they stay the 3 nights. But that's about all I like bc everything else is just ridiculous. They don't even make anything seem real.... . There were two episodes I watched that I just cracked up at. Nick slept in the kitchen the night before but as they were investigating Katrina was in one room and nick was in another m, Nick just walked out of the kitchen but when the camera went to Katrina all the sudden all the cabinets and draws in the kitchen were open. SERIOUSLY?????? they hardly captured any evidence and all the sudden cabinets and doors open and they act like "oh wow that's crazy" and moved on. I would be freaking out if that happened during an investigation! But that's just me. The other episode I watched is when their camera man got "bit".... twice. Like there was two bite marks on his back. Lol.... just LOL. nice try guys, nice try. If you want a successful show.... MAKE IT REAL!!!! Don't make the "faking" so obvious !
So there's my two cents! Have a good day people!! :)

Before you realize it, the 72nd hour of confinement has arrived, the episode is over and you're like "Wait, what? So soon?". Because it's highly captivating, believe me. It lasts one hour and you feel the need to have more. The formula of the three days of confinement, as they present it, makes total sense once you see it. The more you live inside the location, the more the spirits accustom themselves to you, equals more paranormal activity to capture, both in daylight and nighttime. But, for me, it's not only the formula of the investigation that matters, or makes the difference, it's the genuine passion and dedication that Nick and Katrina puts into it. The chemistry between them, between them and the location, their professionalism, serenity and patience whilst risking serious physical and mental breakdowns, incidents and attachments
For me, that's the most enjoyable and mind-blowing stuff about the show. Can't wait to see the next five episodes! (Complete review on my website Team Nick Groff)
I never quite got used to to Nick's absence on GAC. I do still watch the show however even though there's always that nagging in the back of my mind that something is missing. Katrina! WOW!!! Who doesn't like her and who didn't forget about her since paranormal state became absorbed into TVs land of ether or nether world if you will. I will say (clearing my throat nervously) she has aged a bit, but who hasn't. Thanks for reading my unsolicited and most likely unwanted opinion of Nick and Katrina the para-actors. I realize that I didn't have to tell you all that to tell you this-I like paranormal lock down. I actually didn't think anyone could find so much as a slightly new angle on the paranormal that had been tried but this is pretty darn close. I like that they spend more thanVickyClay5761night along with reaching total exhaustion and vulnerability. I'm waiting for something well
Not bad but different to happen (as I'm sure is their plan) in light of the previous statement. This started as a review or more accurately my opinion of the show and turn into well,a monster, however; I'm finishing it because it reminded me of somethingVickyClay5761very wise man in this paranormal field told me once. This man has forgotten more about the paranormal then we all collectively, currently no and will ever know (easy! Remember my opinion) he said "Groups approach me and say they've investigated 50 different places and I say, that's good, however; I'd much rather hear a group say we've investigated the same place 50 times that's much more impressive" and with that I'll say "I guess that was my point" so without further ado I must be done, I hope someone found my point in and among all the words. Thanks for reading.
I used to love GA but Zak became so annoying to watch!! PL with Nick and Katrina is everything you want in a Ghost Show. They have a genuine passion for the paranormal and you can tell they do this for the fans and because it's something they really believe in!! Well done Nick for walking away and starting your own show.

This not a bad show, and yes there is need for more variations on investigating the world of the paranormal. Because of a lot of skeptics out there. It is very important to invite guest to stay overnight with Nick & Katrina. Even if the guest brings it on with their own equipment to capture proof of the paranormal. Interview the guest and have the guest state what they are looking for, what do they expect to get themselves to believe that the world is flooded with so many unknown entities that may or may not exist. Just two people may not be enough, have contest to become a guest investigator, and investigate a variety: graveyards, hospitals, mines, ghost towns, creature's unknown added to ghost hunting in woods, active & inactive shopping centers/malls, museums, schools active & inactive; inactive planes, ships, trains etc. Just continue to be real, even if you have to leave equipment while you are not there. Remember the dead are not on our time, but their own concept of time.
This is such a great show. It's awesome to see Katrina again (loved paranormal state) and Nick too. I wasn't sure why he was no longer in the GAC. But he's got a better show. I can't believe how crazy they are. I think are you kidding me, you're going to sleep there? The fact that they are in a somewhat lockdown state for 72 hours and they put themselves on the line for this show, fatigued, to be taken advantage of. I think what are you doing, I can't believe they are doing that. I like the fact they don't promise we'll see this or that, over edit or over hype. I like the interviews with them when you can see how tired they are. I like how they keep the team small three during the day and then just both of them at night with a couple of stationary cameras.

Great premise. Conceptually the best show. Soo much potential. But, once fakery is detected it all goes to crap. Even if 98% is real, the 2% ruins everything. Can't trust liars. It's a hard road to come back from. The integrity of the show was compromised. Lost all interest.

At last a great believable paranormal show with likable presenters that really believe and are excited in what they are doing, and are not doing the show to prove to themselves and us mere viewers how brave and tough they are, and to also sell the show and themselves to profit their wallets not for the love of the investigation (I think you all know what show I'm describing). Will certainly carry on watching.

Nick, you have years of experience... why are you "So scared". Telling the viewer of your feelings isn't riveting television, however watching you lay down in a cot, now that's got viewers attention. This show had some promise with the unprecedented extended stay of 72 hours, but the cast is boring and the evidence is nearly void. Talking about what 'you feel has the scare factor of a snake bite without fangs or venom. Questions like "Is there anyone there?" "Can you come join me in this room?"... come on. Show some flare, use your investigation info to ask relevant and interesting questions. This show gives the viewer nothing. By the time it's over the viewer must thinking 'why?' or is doing the best Grandpa Simpson impersonation the couch. If this show doesn't reassemble, it won't last. Sad because it had potential.
Personally, this is THE best paranormal show I have seen. I have watched shows about ghosts and the paranormal, for as many years as they have been aired. I am a believer, as I have experienced many things throughout my life, and was part of a paranormal investigator group for several years as well.
I feel that Nick is one of the most genuine investigators I have seen, and I am very happy he embarked on this project of his own. He is staying true what I believe he intended all along, and I hope to see much more of this from him and Katrina.
I love the fact that they spend 3 days at a location, and that for part of the time, it is only the two of them there. It helps to decrease contamination of EVP's when there aren't so many people around that could make noise, and possibly make it so you aren't sure of what you're hearing.
I truly hope this show will be successful, and that we will see MANY more seasons to come!

Paranormal Lockdown gets it right! Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman aren't fame narcissists as is obvious in many other shows of the same genre that have been on the air way too long. They're very professional, talented and thorough with their investigations. The evidence of the paranormal they obtain is outstanding. They also bring many years of combined experience to the show as well as new techniques. I hope to see them for many seasons to come!
