Avis à la une
By calling the actor Dieudonnée, who is only a subject in this documentary, a "Star" it gives you the impression that the film expresses his opinion rather than the utterings of a brutal anti-semite who would exterminate all Jews given half a chance. IMdb should use the title "Subject" not "Star" in documentaries.
The film does a reasonably good job of detailing the Jewish condition in Europe, and the increasing anti-Semitism they encounter in their day to day life. Also the morally ambiguous position of the settlers is depicted with apparent objectivity.
My only gripe is the extended screentime that is afforded to Dieudonné. It's only partly put in context, to the point the viewer starts to wonder if the second half of the film isn't in fact a vehicle for his repulsive opinions. No comparable character from "the other side" is presented, and we even get a monologue when he plaids his innocence: I understand it's archival footage, but it looks like he was offered to defend his persona. Nothing in the film explicitly frames him as the bad guy: the director perhaps considered this too obvious to spell it out, but nonetheless goes way too easy on him.
