Avis à la une
This movie took me quite by surprise. Great acting, Great effects, Great directing, Great cinematography, what more can i say. Some Story elements used before in other movies but executed very well in this Indie budgeted Film. For me it was a more realistic and well rounded. Just enough peeks into the past to pull reality and techno illusion together with realism. If you like Science Fiction you will like this movie.
I honestly can't see any flaws in this film. Despite being a small budget indie film, it certainly doesn't feel like it. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys shows like Black Mirror, or hard sci-fi in general. I would happily watch it again.
Can't wait to see more from this director, the passion put into this is quite simply outstanding.

The film surpassed my expectations, knowing it was a low-budget film. From the opening scene, I was blown away by the Vfx of space-aged transporters filling the skies. I was impressed that the director & author Luke Tedder, was able to bring together a variety of acting talents from professional colleagues, including Adam J.Bernard (already the recipient of an Olivier Award) to amateur friends and relations. These included, 3 generations of one family acting in the film.
The storyline is a thought-provoking exploration into our near future. It was most engaging from beginning to end & I'd recommend it to all.
It's impressive what they have done with such a small budget and you can see that the people that made this show a lot of promise but the film really needs to be about 50 minutes long rather than almost two hours.
I think a whole lot of scenes from the flashbacks and about 75% of the gun-fight sequence could have been cut and it would have made the film a lot more watchable. As it stands it feels very over-long and is too dialogue-heavy in parts but then conversely too action-heavy towards the end of the film. Whoever made this should ask Charlie Brooker for a job, I'm sure with the guidance of professional editors the authors of this could be making amazing stuff in a few years.

I'll sleep to anything, but when someone with whom I've discussed films with so often suggests I watch one I give it an even greater chance. It's a low budget sci fi film, I don't hold that against it.
Was I still on board when the singing started? I was already in persevere mode. Did some of the special effects & costuming hold up better than others, sure. Was the plot interesting or presented in an interesting manor, no it wasn't. Was the acting good for a boring low budget film, it was passable, some it was just the boring script working against them. Was I emotionally involved with the film at any point, no absolutely not. Do I want to discourage any one that took part in making this movie? No. But it's 2019 now, and there are better high school plays on YouTube at this point.
Would I recommend this movie to a friend? No.
