Fun splatter with amazing effects

TL:DR If you love splatters and gore, if you love practical effects then this is a worthy watch

Not going to go much on detail but this movie was a fun watch. Don't go expecting anything super grand as this is not it. Though I will admit there's a pretty decent Anti-War message within this movie.

Now for my favorite aspect is the effects of this movie. There's so many different designs for the goblins, trolls and whatnot. All of them fantastic. Some Lord of The Rings level of make-up. Now this movie is a splatter so gore and blood is expected and damn does it deliver on that front.

Story is a bit confusing but that is honestly due to time jumps between future and past but it's really just about a half troll half human trying to stop a war between Humans and The people of the forest, so trolls and stuff.

I enjoyed the movie for what it is.

Anecdotes
Actor Olli Saarenpää was practicing horse riding couple of days before his scenes. Olli didn't have much horse riding experience before this movie.
