Movie was promising with the good star cast like Vijay Sethupathi, Nayantara but what you get is nothing from it, because it has half baked screenplay. Yes ! It is true, the only Pros of this movie are Nayanathara's acting & Soothing tunes. Undoubtedly, all Songs are worth listening and remembering(Especially the tracks: Nuvvu Nenu & Nenu Rowdy ne..). Considering low budget & not so high production values it would have been a profitable venture in Kollywood. The movie pretends to be a dark Comedy but hardly it created any laughter. It is not upto the mark in terms of making you laugh.

Pretty great movie, Story is quite funny, seeing Vijay Sethupathi being a fake rowdy is pretty hilarious, with him setting up scenes and all that while actually making pretty good cash. Nayanthara is the absolute star of the show however, her acting is brilliant and she looks absolutely gorgeous. Her character Kadhambari is hearing impaired and Nayanthara really brings her to life and allows the viewer to connect with her character.

The story is nothing to write home about but it's funny at parts and good enough, so that Vijay's great acting and Nayanthara's beautiful looks and superb performance can shoulder the shortcomings.

My criticism of the movie comes with how Vijay's character, Pandi almost comes across as if his emotionally manipulating Kadhambari in some scenes. That or his abusing the fact she can't hear to hide and conceal things from her, namely her fathers death. While on the subject why doesn't Kadhambari get a hearing aid? She obviously hasn't completely lost her hearing and with a hearing aid she may even be able to hear again.

I have seen the movie in Simivalley, Los Angeles, USA.

Screenplay is very good. Young Director did good job and become a one of the key success point.

Dhanush is getting a good career as producer by making these kind of selected stories.

Nayanthara and Vijay sethupathi did excellent job. Parthiban also did his best in this.

Anirudh made decent job in songs and back ground music is good. RJ Balaji's comedy is OK. But should have been more better.

Worth watchful movie. We can watch more than once. Please go and watch in theaters.

I don't understand how this movie is rated only at a 7.3. It surely deserves to be in the 8 region. Excellent story carried by a throughly enjoying screenplay. And who can forget about the lovely music in this. Each and every actor did justice to their role. One of the best Tamil films of all time. Nothing more to say!
