I don't speak Russian so could not follow the movie but the cinematography (lighting, framing), sound and editing is better than almost any other movie... even top grossing films.

Especially the bowling alley, skiing, cars in traffic, people sitting around tables/bed, and the final one-cut scene. Masters in generating atmosphere.

I really enjoyed the movie, as the girl said, it's kind of "Pretty Women" stuff, but much more realistic, more dramatic and thrilling. Also, Anna Borissowna Tschipowskaja who played Nina looks so much better than Julia Roberts did and is a better actress. The rating here should be much better. Worst movie ever seen. Bad plot. A woman(nina) leaves husband for wealthy guy. That guys wife supports him. Our hero is that poor husband(Nina's).

First of all there's a lot of people going on about how "deep" and "psychological" this movie is, but in my opinion this is all absolute nonsense and completely ditches even the concept of personal responsibility, if this script was co-written by therapists then they're either scammers or have some kind of agenda to make it interesting, it has a very basic and overused plot, good acting, good music and as always some flimsy character justifications for their actions, it's not horrible but it's nothing special, I'd recommend it if you've got to kill an hour and have nothing else to watch.
