This is the best snuff style movie I ever seen! You swear everything you see is actually real and I guess that the point. Slasher Victim 666 and his family cult are going to take hollywood by storm. The best part is there actually a story so when it gets all crazy you actually care. Wayyy better than august underground and all the movies like that. This is the kind of movie I've wanted to see forever! Must see for true horror fans!!
I found this movie in the creepiest of ways!
The apparent director of it, this guy named slashervictim666, found me on instagram and asked me to watch his movie. The guy acted creepy as hell and to be honest I wasn't even sure if there was a movie or if he was just a typical instagram idiot.
So he showed me and my sister his movie which plays out like a snuff film that he made. It was pretty funny actually until the end when it got super violent and gory. Like a snuff film.
Movie I would give a 6.5 or 7 and the creepy marketing I would have to give a 10. Super original.
Overall 8.

I only put 9 stars here because i gave the second one 10 stars and i liked that one even more than this one. Other than that, this film is really good. I found this movie series a few days ago on my own randomly, and was pleasently suprised to find i could watch it for free on their site. Even so, the film obviously took a lot of time, effort and money to make and it felt so real that i genuinely had to make sure this wasn't some accidental dark-web stuff i stumbled across (haha.) Really gore-y film and it was hard to watch when things picked up but as i said for the second one, the storyline was really good and we get some insight on sv666's life and also todd's. I read a review that said this movie was ahead of it's time and i have to say i agree... these type of movies don't hit the cinemas nowerdays as for the extreme goreiness of it all but maybe one day they will get more out there and more people may enjoy them.
Either way i was one of the many to watch this film before it was more well known, and i'm very happy to have checked these films out and hope more people will come across them.

"Now i sometimes find the "found footage" genre of film very difficult to watch. Especially if the camera is bobbing up and down and not being steady for more than a few seconds. This film however is a breath of fresh air in that regard as i found it easy to watch. So right off the bat the cinematography is near perfect. The use of different cameras to bring tension to certain parts of the film is just amazing. The Character Todd Smith is a believable character and to be honest i felt like i knew him or someone as equally mental from back in high school.
i kind of got the feeling he could be pushed over the edge to do some real shady stuff to get the answers he wants. With that being said however i think he really wants whats best for his idiot brother who doesn't seem to see that his ole lady is cheating on him. we all have known a guy like that one time or another as well.
I can see why he resorts to spying and basically staking out his brother's place while he is away. what i didn't expect in the latter part of the film is special effects that rival some of Hollywood's best in the gore genre. It instantly reminded me of the remake of the "Evil dead" as far as special effects quality so hats off for the SFX team. just awesome. The Film itself is told basically in bits of POV footage from either Todd or slashervictim666. such a great job of weaving it all together and keeping it interesting throughout the film. And thanks to Slashervictim666 for supplying the gore and ending the film on a "killer" note! I wont give way anymore of the story so just see for yourself. Awesome work for sure...."

I read another review here that said they were approached by Slashervictim666 to watch this, and yeah I was approached the same way. Even though it says Chris Good Goodwin in the IMDb credits, Slashervictim666 is the 'reel director' of this.
This is a tough movie to review because I feel the movie itself is only one part of the equation. There's so many things scattered online (that Slashervictim666 showed me) that are related to the film. The more you dig around, the more you discover. For instance, the lead character Todd Smith has a full-fledged YouTube channel with dozens of videos that make it seem like he's an actual legit person.... and that's just one example.
Reel is actually a good title for this because with all the internet easter eggs and backstory, it definitely feels like it's real. If you just go into this cold, watching it randomly, it won't be as effective as someone who's had a chance to talk to Slashervictim666 and dove into all the world that is built here.
Definitely highly recommended. I can't really relate it to too many horror experiences I've ever had. It's like watching Saw and then going online, realizing Jigsaw is a real person, having a chat with him and then finding instagram profiles of all his victims. Something like that.
Anyhow, watch the movie but make sure you talk to Slashervictim666 before you do (or after). I think he's on every social media platform? There's a whole world to discover here and he's sort of the gatekeeper to it all. This movie is just a tiny fragment of what you'll find.
