Great movie just really enjoyed having people that look like me in this Genre! We acted and written!

What I appreciate most about this is seeing myself in Olympia. So refreshing to see a black woman, and families, in fully human roles. This story is beautiful in its broad relatability. We've all had to weigh staying safe and small (and afraid) against the unknown, potentially broadening experience, that brings confidence. I love this film because it supports real living. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this art!

This is one of my favorite Chicago films for the drone shots of downtown Chicago alone. I was curious about this film after Nina Metz reviewed it in The Chicago Tribune. I really related to not knowing where you are at in adulthood because regular milestones like marriage and buying a home doesn't apply, and even career wise, there's an entrepreneurial spirit and changing careers so instead of a lateral view, there's all sorts of roads in people's careers. I love how perfectly McKenzie Chinn (the writer and star) captured this.

I LOVED this movie. I've been watching a lot of Romance Movies lately, and this is definitely one of the best. I love the characters. If that Felix character really exists....that's who I want as my man. He was romantic, considerate, sent flowers to mom in the hospital, threw a surprise birthday party, Cooked breakfast, wrote and sang her songs. Also he was THERE in every scene where he needed to be. Even staying up all night in the hospital with her when mom was sick. The other characters are great too. The best friend is someone I would want as my best friend. She was supportive and encouraging. The overprotective, sometimes rigid, but loving big sister. Wonderfully balanced by the quirky Lesbian wife who would jump in to smooth things out when needed. The uninhibited roommate who dances to the beat if his own drums. He led the characters into running down the street in the middle of the night during a party because he felt like running. I'm not a professional critic with eloquent words to do this film justice. But it was simply great!

This film is amazing and it's the story of today's generation. Powerful and evocative, a great story about the new American Experience. If you have not watched this film you are missing out. Director Gregory Dixon does a superb job, with Writer and Star McKenzie Chinn. Watch these folks because they going to be stars!!
