Rougarou

I'd say it was pretty good all things considered. It's short and sweet at 15 minutes long and the effects were well done, better than some high budget movies in my opinion. I think the portrayal of the alcoholic father is well done, he's a loving father struggling with an addiction, not an abusive tyrant who refuses to change. Although it doesn't lean into the horror enough for my liking. I'm a bigger fan of a scarier or sadder ending which this doesn't deliver on.

If you're looking for a short film with well done acting, a good portrayal of a struggling and loving relationship between father and daughter, and story about changing for the better then I'd recommend this film.

If you're looking for some good shots of a well done Rougarou then I think you'd enjoy the few seconds you get to see it but I can't say this will be what you're after.
