My daughter is two years old, and she absolutely loves this show. She is laughing, giggling and clapping throughout the entire show. When she hears that opening theme song she immediately start dancing to the catchy beat.
But what's there not to love about this show? There are dogs doing fun and cool tricks, a giant stuffed animal that can talk, and one of the best opening theme songs for a kids show. This show has a lot of appeal for children. The teacher Calvin has such a fun and exciting attitude, and helps make this show very entertaining to watch.
I actually enjoy watching this show with her as well. I think i get just as excited as she does when we hear that opening theme song. Because we both know that we're in for a treat.
I would recommend this show to any parent whose kids love dogs.

If you are longing for the days of cheesy, poorly produced shows that you would only find on public access cable channels then this is the show for you.
Calvin Millan has limited acting ability which is obvious from the over the top, repetitive expressions and gestures. He also seems to have trouble annunciating all the words clearly. I hate to criticize him this way but its grating to watch, really. It does not help when we find out he is the son of the executive producer Cesar Millan. Nepotism on full display ?
The show has potential since there are plenty of dog lovers who will tune in just for the animals. However Nickelodeon would do well to keep the Millans behind the camera and bring in some real talent from the other shows.
Hard to believe this is from the same Nick Junior that aired Dora, Blues
Clues and Backyardigans.

My 1 year old and 3 year old baby are mesmerized by this show. They love it. In fact while the 1 year old was throwing a fit I turned the show on and they suddenly turned around and started watching it. The dogs are so well trained and are adorable! It's clean and fun entertainment for kids.
There are so many amazing animals on the show and they are so sweet and positive the kids jumped for joy when the show came on. The host has a overly positive smile but it's all good because the kids smile when they watch the show. It has a great mix of animation, puppets and live animals. The colors are bright and exciting!
Thank you so much for putting out clean content for our kids. Glad their attitudes are so positive on the show! We appreciate your clean programming and we will be watching your channel and excellent programming Nick! The kids love it! Kid approved!!!!

Greysen loves Mutt & Stuff and so do I. Very cute, fun, positive, lots of great activities.....Shows manners, discipline, educational....great for young and old......Grammy likes it too. Be happy is a good way to go and this show is nothing but, happy!!!! How can you not love the Milan family....Dogs are all terrific and well trained, love the new mouse.....Dancing, singing, all smiling and good natured. Greysen is a dog and animal lover so he can connect to each of these critters. A must show for all kids. Greysen always finds something he really likes in each of the shows. He leaves the program with a fun attitude and learned a new lesson from each one. An asset to TV where there is so much negativity on it...Keep this one going. KUDOS to Mutt & Stuff and each of the crew....love you
When you think of Sid and Marty Kroftt, you think of their wacky children's shows that dominated TV in the 1970s. When you think Cesar Millan, you think of the canine behavioral guru, who helps humans handle their hounds. Who ever thought the two would ever come together. No-brainer since all (or most) kids LOVE dogs and puppets. The basic plot is Calvin Millan (Cesar's teenage son) and Mutt (imagine H.R Pufnstuf, if he was a giant dog, geddit "Mutt & Stuff"= "Pufnstuf) run a school/day care center for dogs (played by real dogs).
Rounding out the cast are a talking fire hydrant and two cats who act like Statler and Waldorf. There's not much educational value or kid appeal in this show, but if you want to watch dogs and puppets act silly for 20 minutes, this show is for you!
