It was very enjoyable and the stories were very entertaining. The Assacre story was my favorite as I started laughing. Luna Meow was awesome as always in the story. Go check out An Hour to Kill. It is epic!!!

I am still processing what I just watched...and I mean that in a good way! An Hour To Kill has a lot going on and is a hard movie to classify. It starts off like a film-noir crime film, with two hitmen who "have an hour" before they have to whack someone. To help pass time, they tell each other weird stories. Then the film goes off into an 80's horror anthology vibe, with three over-the-top Creepshow-like vignettes. Expect to see a Nazi serial killer, ass-blasting chili peppers, and half-breed Hog monsters. Mel Novak (Bruce Lee's Game Of Death, Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance) really shines as the head mob boss Mr. Kinski. The movie is original, moves quickly, and has a fun grindhouse feel. Highly recommend!
An Hour to Kill is an action thriller from the minds of Aaron K. Carter and Ronnie Jimenez currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.

An Hour to Kill
A young up and coming hitman Frankie (played by Frankie Pozos) is learning the ropes from fellow hitman Gio (Aaron Guerrero). A job goes south when a rival gangster escapes the hit. Not only did the guy get away, but Frankie is upset he was used as the talk piece while Gio took care of the gangsters.
Gio reports the botched job to his boss Mr. Kinski (Mel Novak). Afraid, Mr. Kinski evaluates the situation and determines Frankie must have tipped his rivals off. Gio's new orders are to take Frankie out within the next hour.
During their hour to kill, Gio and Frankie begin sharing disturbing stories they have overheard while on different jobs.
Valkyries Bunker
A few years after World War II an escaped Nazi gestapo, Edsel, and his son, Valkyrie, took refuge in a bunker deep within the forest. After the police discovered Edsel's location they raided the bunker but never found Valkyrie. Legend says he is still there.
Years later, a rag-tag group of college girls are searching for a stash of weed in the Santa Monica Mountains. They discover the bunker, but is danger lurking nearby?
Assacre
A new winner is crowned for the El Jefe 10 lb. burrito challenge. The previous record holder seeks revenge by convincing the winner to eat the illegal Sucre pepper. The hottest pepper known to man.
Hog Hunters
A local bowling team is looking for a new member. After some rough starts with other players, they might have found the right match. To make sure this guy is serious they're going to take him hog hunting. If he can't do that then they don't want him on the team.
Review
Right away, I will have to make it known that I loved this movie. I've watched it a couple of times and it's an instant recommendation of mine.
An Hour to Kill is incredibly entertaining and has a mix of genres. This movie was hard to review during my first watch because I couldn't tell if I was supposed to be sickened, horrified, or laugh at the absurdity. The answer is, all of the above.
The best compliment I can give this movie is that it has unique characters that have proper motivation. Each character has a set idea and attitude that makes them an individual rather than all the characters becoming more or less the same person. That is incredibly difficult to do in a small cast, let alone an anthology with multiple characters.
I enjoy the chemistry between Frankie and Gio. Frankie in many ways is still immature to the world around him. Gio overlooks a lot of this admitting that he was in Frankie's position before. It was due to having a good mentor he was able to become a professional and stay alive in such a difficult business. I hope these actors team up again in future projects.
In Valkyrie's Bunker, Heidi (Stephanie Stehlow) is a bossy narcissist who shrugs off the other's concerns of drugs and alcohol. Yet, has to make her discomfort with her blistering feet known as top priority.
Brendan (Brendan Mitchell) is a great representation of social media culture. Someone who wants to post and brag about all the cool stuff they're doing when there's nothing to brag about. For example, in the El Jefe challenge, he builds himself up informing the audience he will take down the champion. During the competition you can see that the other contestants ate all or almost all of their food while he barely touched his.
Even minor characters such as the bartender Vince (Vince Kelvin), who has the world's greatest faux hawk, make memorable appearances.
Also attributing to the strength of the movie is that every segment stands on its own. Gangsters, slasher Nazi's, and wild hogs, there are great stories for all fans of micro budget horror, action, and comedy.
On a more critical side there are issues with the audio, occasional bad acting, and even a few spots where I could see the camera in a mirror or window.
Those minor criticisms don't take away my love for the movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of Pulp Fiction and The Angry Video Game Nerd.

Nothing better than a good Grindhouse feel in a movie. Love the idea of 3 mini movies in one. The kinda of movie that you have a few drinks or whatever recreational item you do and enjoy. Plus it has Joe McQueen in it. A very underrated actor. Just don't understand why he hasn't gotten that big movie yet. When you watch it don t over pick it. Watch it for what it is and have fun. I always enjoy Aaron's movies
The three stories within "An Hour To Kill" starts of with a nice wrap-around featuring hitmen out on an assignment, and engaged in indepth conversation. It is a crime noir styled tale that literally presents each of the other tales. At times the wrap-around feels sketchy, sort of haphazard in its flow. But a lot of it is cool, indie fun with plenty of entertainment value.
"Valkyrie's Bunker" is the first story presented within the anthology. It takes us back in time to the 80's. The story feels more like 90-91 affair, and demands a suspension of belief- Nazi's in Southern Cali? Most of the kills are off screen and the ending hits more like a non-ending. My least favorite of the twisted tales.
"Assacre" is a bit grosser and more comical than any other story in "An Hour To Kill". It is a tale worthy of any foodie's gag reflex. Still the story is fun and the limited gore and bloodletting is done nicely for lowbudget horror.
"Hog Hunters" is the more traditional short in the series. The tale of rednecks seeking out the arousing squeal of the pig. A definite homage to "Deliverance" but in the guise of mutant creature feature fanfare. This one is the cleanest, more developed of the stories. The complete short feels more like a cut-down of quality feature length horror comedy. My favorite one.
"An Hour To Kill" is quality low budget storytelling. The concepts may not be too original but they are clever, amusing and done well. On the down side some line delivery is choppy, at times the execution of scenes is amateur , and not nearly enough gore and guts as I was hoping for, but still it is a solid anthology with plenty of indie goodness.

Le saviez-vous
- AnecdotesThe footage for "Valkyrie's Bunker" was stolen. The person who let the director use his camera, kept the drive with all the files. It took the director 10 months to find and recover the lost footage. Many of the shots and scenes were deleted, resulting in a shorter than expected segment.
