Pathetic cabin horror wannabe

This movie...I have no idea how it got good reviews, unless they're by the people who made this rubbish. A cookie cut group of friends who're not at all likeable go to a cabin in the woods and amid the bad acting and shrill mindless arguing they begin to get killed, yay! I was actually happy when they began to get killed off because the whiny arguing girls and pervy guys make for a hell of a headache in this really beyond bad movie that should be avoided at all costs.

The Dregs of Motion Picture Making

This has got to be the slowest slasher movie I have ever seen. Starts off with the obligatory jump scare, which tells you these filmmakers have nothing creative in their heads.

Then we are witness to the "acting" which let's us know there is not talent in the movie. The directing is just a bore. The movie drones on and on with nothing happening for what seems like forever.

More than half way through the film and still nothing happens. Then finally there is a shower scene that is so antiseptic you'll fall asleep.

There is simply nothing original or interesting in this movie. It's a bore. And a big one at that.

WTF did I just watch!

There is not much to say here except for the fact that this movie was something I could barely sit through. I was looking for a somewhat decent slasher film and this film did not deliver. From the moment the opening scene happened I myself was like WTF! It's your typical cheap slasher film that comes off super corny. Horrible acting. Don't bother, you'll probably not last 5 min into this film.

Decent Modern Slasher

An OK modern slasher with a few good performances and nice death scenes is hampered by a lousy, useless "twist" ending. Despite this, there are a few fun moments and bitchy one liners. There aren't any scares or suspenseful set pieces to mention and none of the characters ever rise above one dimensional cardboard cut outs.

Despite this, there's still enough in this to give slasher fans a few occasional smiles here and there. It's not bad, but it's nothing to write home about either.
