Mike J.: This really was a bad one; half the runtime is wasted on a story which is then ignored, and the whole "dog playing sports" thing only comes in for the last 25 minutes. I don't know why movies like this force dumb villains in there. Can't we just sit and watch a nice story about a dog playing sports and not have to worry about whether or not he'll make it in time to play the big game at the end of the movie? And we know he always will! Cue the credits.
