Avis à la une
Well I quite like the characters portrayed in this series I have nearly given up watching because of the medical errors.
Like open heart and lung surgery on an awake talking patient.
Once you open the chest you need a tube down the throat to control breathing.
Please get a better medical advisor.
Things that are a nuances: they intubate EVERYONE! WHY? Surgeons literally gut people in front of family members, which is extremely traumatic. April, Natalie, Dr. Bekker, and Dr. Holstead are all ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING!!! They literally cause my skin to crawl with them merely speaking. The fact that their characters have that kind of power on the viewer means Wolf did a great job in balancing out the love-hate of the characters lol. We cannot love everyone. LOL. Happy viewing.
Can we PLEEEAASE have a medical drama where doctors do exactly what they are told to do?? I am glad that Halstead and Manning are gone, and have taken their rules-be-damned, cowboy (or -girl) mentality with them.
How many times do we have to watch any given medical "professional" try to impose their personal agenda, skirt the rules, stomp on protocol and give Sharon Goodwin no shortage of headaches? I worked for two years in a medium-sized ER department and never saw any of this ridiculousness ever occur. But I suppose without this selfishness there would be no drama in this drama. Am I right?

This possibly could be my last season watching this show. It started out good however it is getting to be more like a soap opera than a medical drama. This is the same reason why I stopped watching Grey's Anatomy. I personally like medical programs to have more medicine than romantic melodrama. This is Us is also way too melodramatic.
I have never seen a more inept group of doctors and nurses. They make inexcusably poor decisions, they lie, they steal pills, and they constantly color outside the line of their professional duties and responsibilities.
If I were ill and I lived in Chicago, I would never let them take me to Chicago Med.

- AnecdotesPatti Murin, who plays Dr. Nina Shore is married to Colin Donnell (Dr. Connor Rhodes).
- GaffesMost of the time, when trying to revive a patient with chest compressions, the doctors do them much too fast (about five per second, when CPR guidelines are 100 compressions per minute). Swift, shallow compressions don't allow enough blood and oxygen to circulate through the heart and reach the brain.
- Crédits fousLorena Diaz(Doris) appears in nearly every episode, but her name is never listed in the opening credits.
