Tristeza e Alegria na Vida das Girafas

Charming? This haphazard collection of attempts to be clever tried so hard to be, but fails.

Frequently cussing man in a big bear costume, who also plays the father, who also imitates the mother, who also plays someone claiming to be the dead Chekhov, and is named after a Wizard of Oz actress? And I guess they are all on a quest to get enough money they mistakenly believe is what they need to be able to watch The Discovery Channel? (Yes, that Bloodhound Gang song would have worked perfectly in the soundtrack, especially with this man in the big bear suit!)

This film was composed of a series of sketches and vignettes, some of which might be fine on their own, but it becomes chaos when it is thrown altogether incoherently. There is also a very odd use of language that, although unique, is likely to become very irksome very quickly for most viewers.

Maybe die hard fans of absurdity and surreality would disagree, but for most audience, this will be confusing, obnoxious, and way too weird- not in a good way.
