Avis à la une
This film is a good hearty family drama. The moral and cultural beliefs intertwined well with the story line. The climax was surprising however the ending was cliché. I felt that it ruined the messages that were being portrayed throughout film.
Allu Arjun did a very good job. His style and efforts were flawless although at times it felt a little over the top. Samantha's role was unconventional but towards that end of the film she was forced to play a typical heroine. Her style was a little bit confusing as it felt that it was more important to emphasize her physical appearance even though she had a unique character. Upendra was good. He really embodied the different shades of his character. The rest of the cast helped move the story along.
The music was pretty good although none of them were memorable. Direction and editing was good as well.
Overall, Trivikram had a great vision in mind but ended up following the same formula.

Son Of Satyamurthy has a interesting storyline, It's enjoyable, has it's own twists and turns, but is simple enough for all to follow. It focuses on upholding ones values and code of honour over money or property, which is an underlying theme throughout the movie and is a core factor to the choices made by the main character. The main story is supplemented by the relationship between Viraj and Sameera which forms the basis of the second half of the movie and the actions which take place in order for them to get her fathers blessing for them to marry.
Allu Arjun and Upendra Rao are both brilliant as the hero and villain of the movie, their characters are like fire and ice and it works well. Adah Sharma is barely in the movie, but she does a good job for the scenes she is in, even if her character seems like a rather shallow, gold digger for the most part. Samantha Ruth Prabhu once again steals the show with her stunning looks, amazing smile and picture perfect portrayal of her character Sameera aka Subba Lakshmi. Nithya Menen comes in rather late in the movie but delivers a killer performance and keeps things interesting until the end.
The songs are all pretty nice though only 1 really stood out for me, that being "Come To The Party".
All in all, a lovely film. It has a sold story dictated by the moral code and values instilled in the main character by his father. A lovely love story between Allu Arjun and Samantha characters and some good musical and dance numbers. A solid 8/10 from me!
