Loved the sistahs handling their business and Killer is too fine to be a killer! Excellent plot... GinX has a very bright future in the business. I know you're working on the next big one. I'm PROUD of you!! Hit up Netflix and Continued Success!
Needless to say that I had never heard about this 2010 crime movie titled "Queen Pin" from wroter and director Gin X, prior to stumbling upon the movie by random chance here in 2023. Given the movie's cover and the whole premise of it, I must admit that I wasn't really harboring much of any expectations. Yet, I still opted to watch the movie, given the fact that it was a movie that I had never heard about.
Naturally I wasn't familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list in this movie. And it wasn't as if there were any famous people to be seen anywhere. But with names of actors and actresses such as Dirt Diggla, Mob Boss, Yella Boi, Tony 904, Dread, Big E, G Hustle, Lil Jack, Nard, Shout Out, Scooby, and so forth, I can't really claim to think that I was in for a movie with stellar acting performances.
The dialogue in the movie, as written by Gin X, was pretty simplistic. However, the delivery of the dialogue was somewhat wobbly and forced at times. Some of the actors and actresses weren't really capable of delivering believable dialogue while they were in front of the camera. Especially when almost every single sentence from a certain actor contained the phrasing "feel me", then it grew very tiring and annoying, very fast.
"Queen Pin" was a rather generic and stereotypical movie. And I certainly wasn't the target audience for a movie of this type.
My rating of "Queen Pin" lands on a two out of ten stars.

This SUPER LOW BUDGET film had potential, despite the typical "hood" crime drama we have seen before. I could see what the director and writer was trying to accomplish, but if fell short.
The problem was the audio, the acting and the script/dialogue(which may have been improvised)...if the ACTING was good the dialogue and audio could slightly be overlooked-slightly.
Still there's something cool about putting the effort to making a movie like this...no budget but what you have, using all your friends to make the dream happen despite the result. I was amused by the bad acting and curious to see how it would end despite how low budget it was.
If you watch this take it for what it is..for some it may be so bad that it becomes good.
Yes it's low budget, yes it's hood, yes the actors are mediocre at best but damn is this movie good. It's real and relatable if you come from or live that life. RIP Jokisha aka Rhanni.
Pure rubbish!
That is it, that is all!
Disasterious writing, untalented actors, laughable scenes...they try to use some girls to lure people to watch this movie..it doesn't work..
Long story short, try other movies!
