Lonely Bananas

An inspired cast with sharp, terrific dialogue and solid performances throughout! Brad Spiotta takes the olive loaf as a sleazy swinger. Becca Barnum, Jay Desiderio, Amelia Favata, Terry Kimmel, Alexander Sloan McBryde, Michael O'Hear, Mark Parker and the rest of the cast put the character back in character acting. The editing is polished, the sound is stellar and the soundtrack adds atmosphere without being overbearing. I laughed a lot more than I expected! The sum of the film's parts make for a raunchy, funny, clever story worth seeing. Lonely Bananas captures the horror and the hilarity of modern dating in a very relatable way.

Lonely Bananas is an offbeat screwball comedy with a wide variety of characters. It takes the phrase "looking for love in all the wrong places" to a whole new level. A worthy rendition of your classic mashup of story line​s where each character follows their own path. No one character can claim the title of "lead" however there are a few stand outs that you'll inevitably take home as your favorites. Keeping in mind this movie had a $0 budget, the filmmakers delivered a product that is quite impressive. Hilarious and entertaining, a great film that you and your friends will be quoting for weeks after watching.

To be fair I am had a small part in this film, but I can honestly say that I had many laughs from watching it and not just because I got to see a bunch of Buffalo film people in it as zany characters, but because Rhonda Parker connected with the cast and crew allowing us to have fun with the material. There is whole world worth watching in this film, guaranteed to bring a smile to your face and a lol too.
