I did enjoy the first episodes of this show, but it felt like it took a long time for the show to really dig into the personal life of the main character. And by the time they did, the show got cancelled. It's only one season, and the ending is way rushed. I think it had potential, but it's not worth the time for anyone to watch just this one season.
This guys know the way of true feelings ! i can feel with each episode that im there with them leaving each moment, i can experience each case and sometimes i think about things it never came to my minds, thats the first time i comment on IMDb and i signed up just to post this comment to encourage you guys and let you know im 1 on million that love this series and i wish this comment will motivate you, i have to write 10 lines so i can accses the ready submission and my English is bad it took me an hour almost to write this ! everything is just perfect and yeah thats it and most of all they combine two different types of living in this series keep it going guys please don't stop here and best of luck !
Loved loved loved it!! I am not a fan of Melissa George, esp with her view on Australia, but the guys are so great and she is actually great in this too. The relationships in this series are just inspirational, they make you want better for you and your friends and your family, and even strangers. . Only just got going as a series and it's gone. I want it back!! Please bring it back somebody!
Before this program got off the ground, I read today it was canceled. I really thought this show would be like Grey's Anatomy and go for a decade or more. I really liked it and was telling everyone to watch it; they felt the same way.
Now, it's canceled and I'm shocked. Surely, another network or Netflix, etc. could pick it up and keep it going.
Melissa George is great. Dave Annable is playing yet another doctor with a heart of gold; this time with more spunk. To have D.L. Hughley, a comedian, playing the psychiatrist is brilliant casting. The back stories were great. The family at home was great with its twist.
Don't let this show disappear! Keep it going on some other channel with people who know good network television when they see it.

Dr. Alexandra Panttiere (Melissa George) is a rebellious heart surgeon in St. Matthew's Hospital. Dr. Pierce Harrison (Dave Annable) is her boyfriend. Dr. Jesse Shane (Don Hany) is her long time crush. Max is her gay ex-husband with her kids. Millicent Silvano (Shelley Conn) is her suffering boss trying to keep her out of trouble. Dr. Callahan (Jamie Kennedy) is the sleazy womanizer and nurse Ji-Sung struggles to keep from falling for him.
This show tries so hard to do so many different things. It's trying too hard to be wacky. As a medical show, it has the serious side. On top of everything, it's trying desperately to be 'Grey's Anatomy'. I would prefer it does less of the silly stuff. They mostly come off as stupid. It's different from being fun. I wish the best for Melissa George but the show has saddled her with too many connected characters. It's as if the showrunners figured more is better. This could have been one more functional medical show but it's juggling with too many balls in the air.
