Drop dead handsome Sinan (Murat Yildrim) reunites with Efsun (Ezgi Mola) whom he fell in love with at school. Hilarious relationship advice.
Kocan Kadar Konuş (Talk As Much Your Husband) as it is stated in the beginning 100% Turkish comedy. First of all all actors are great. Movie makes fun of our obsession to get married. A lot of people were laughing so much (including me) in the theater, missed some scenes.
Efsun (Ezgi Mola); 30 years old, has career, smart and pretty girl is under pressure of her family and society because she is still single. Things get worse after when her 20 years old cousin decides to get marry.
When she sees her high school crush after years whom she never actually forget (Murat Yildirim); this time in order to not make any mistakes, for the first time in her life she starts to take relationship advices from her female relatives (her younger cousin and sisters, her mother, her aunt, her grand mother) in order to get married with him.
Only problem with the movie is it has some clichés. And I think if Brigitte Jones were Turkish, she would come across the same problems with Efsun. Still it was an very enjoyable evening. And if they ever shoot a second movie; for sure i would go to see.

Kocan Kadar Konus had been adapted to cinema from a bestseller book which called with same name. It includes very funny jokes and details which completely related with Turkish Culture. I am pretty sure that every one who lived in Turkey in a part of their life will enjoy with the movie.
The movie includes some special scenes which had been directed by French director of photography, as well. These scenes had wonderful animations and illustrations. In spite that this is new trend between new generation Turkish movies, it is hard to find qualified examples like this. Besides it makes Kocan Kadar Konus very innovative.

Such a simple idea for a movie: feeling the clock ticking and pressure from family and friends to get married ASAP. Efsun tried to be someone she is not when she should have been exactly who she is.
This comedy was cleverly written, acted and filmed. The way they filmed to past scenes, Efsun's dreams, and her imaginary friend were imaginative and thoroughly fun to watch. I love that she is a very sensible, down to earth girl and I also loved the relationship she maintained with her father. Other family was intentionally cliche and hilarious. Even though it is meant to be ridiculous, there is a strand of truth. There really are many people who think that if a woman is single at the age of 30, she is destined to be unhappy, and that marriage is the answer to all one's problems. I like the way this movie handled that by showing that Efsun would be much happier if she dropped all the silly games and just stayed true to herself.
Now the ending- well that was a little weird, and it cries out for a continuation (which there is). I will be watching that tonight!

The film was mediocre at best. Not very funny, not too cringy, just your average "let's just make a quick buck out of this popular book" movie.
However my main objection would be concerning realism. Another reviewer mentioned "the beard". In Turkish high schools you cut that beard. End of story. Additionally, there is absolutely NOT a single publisher in Turkey that works like that. Zilch. Nada. I work in this field and I guarantee you it was the fantasy of someone who has never been inside a publishing house.
