Avis à la une
I had minimal expectations going into the movie considering S.J.Suryah being away for almost 10 years but I should say he is back with a big bang. No wonder he considered this as his pet project!
First half is bit slow and some scenes can are really unwanted but the second half will make you realize the true essence of the movie.
If its nenokkadine for Telugu in recent times, then its Isai for Tamizh cinema for sure! No unwanted BGMs no unwanted scenes, no unwanted character development, no unwanted dialogs. There may be flaws but it has its explanation in the end ! S.J.Suryah is very cunning and smart.
Screenplay is very nicely paced and the climax is something to look out for!
Sathyaraj plays the trump-card here. Watch out!
Must watch movie and an eyeopener for many!

The movie was good. It is so interesting and thrilling. The film is so much thrilling. But the climax was not good. It has a good story but it has a bad climax.
First half apart from the dumb romance scenes, every frame in the film is picture perfect.SJ suryah as a director has shown his excellence once again in this movie in addition to his acting skills.Another surprising factor about the film is the music.Extraordinary music and bgm by an new comer whose hands are already full with lot of works.Opening song was awesome !!!!!Hats off suryah sir....Sathayraj was another pillar of this movie....Extremely talented villain in Indian industry.Second half of the movie was a roller coaster ride...enjoyed thoroughly!!!!!!!!!Climax was good and daring attempt.!!!Good come back by Ganja Karuppu.....!!!!!Go,sit and enjoi...!!!!!
1. Intro and following songs are very good. 2. BGM is stunning.. Like Hans Zimmer in Tamil Nadu 3. Heroine's acting was good and kind of imitating Jothika? 4. Looks like, SJ Saved a lot of money with controlled sets. Good. 5. Finding Nature's music, real life music scenes are from "Frank" ? 6. Script about Hero's manager/wife are from "Truman Show" ? 7. Face reactions and acting of SJ is improved 10x times "Stunning"! 8. Movie lovers will surly love this "isai" like their heart beat. 9. Sathyaraj rocked & SJS's performance is also comparable to him.
I really liked this movie and i recommend everyone who is expecting a good story + script + execution. Not a HEROISM crap which almost all heros are feeding to us in these days.
90% worth your time & money!

So good! Watched it in 1080p on Herotalkies.com. S J Suryah being shown as the upcoming musical genius was exaggerated quite a bit. Sulagna was simply stunning but the romance scenes were tad bit too "adult" for typical Indian audiences. I enjoyed them. ;) Sathyaraj was just boss with his villain role. Too damn good.
The theatres and most other websites have the edited version with around 15 to 20 minutes of runtime cut out. A friend of mine back home in Madurai told me about the edited version, and from what I noticed, a part of the main twist was removed. The site where I watched it on has the full uncut version. Hard to find that especially when you're in the Stanford dorm. :D
The music on the overall is actually quite, interesting. Maybe it was because I watched it expecting nothing great from SJ Suryah, but I sure was surprised. Anyhow, the movie's worth the watch. Subbed or no subbed, watching the movie without knowing the language is possible. Everything's been acted out so well, what happens is pretty much self-explanatory. I give the movie 7 out of 10 - which for an S J Suryah movie, is pretty good. And making a comeback after almost a decade, this one's a winner.
