I was pleasantly surprised with this film. With a budget of only 25.000 and a cast of mainly lay actors, Lars Oppermann and his team delivered a fantastic and thought provoking film.
Since I recently became a vegan, I did not need convincing, but I am certain that 'Los Veganeros' will cause some people to at least think about their diet and the suffering of animals it causes.
I thought that some scenes felt a bit off and there was one character, whose name escapes me, that in my opinion did not fit into this film.
Rosalie Wolff was ideal as the main character and delivered an outstanding performance as Vicky. She had great on-screen chemistry with Nils Brunkhorst and made the whole film a delight to watch.
