Avis à la une
A stream of consciousness featuring various people with various recording devices of various quality, recording (intentionally or not) their experiences with zombies in the early stages of an outbreak Virus of The Dead is produced on a micro-budget or possibly as a project collecting many different fans' entries and compiling them into one feature. There are some interesting ideas here including two different recently bitten people describing how it feels to turn, a teacher droning on and on about his theory about the virus, two buddies trying to make a movie using actual zombies. At the same time, there are also plenty of ho-hum entries. It all feels a lot like running a random sequence of YouTube zombie fan-made scenes.
No redeeming aspects at all.
It's like a community centre found a video camera and made the 'film' in their lunch hour.
Give this one a miss.

I would consider myself a connoisseur of indie films, horror in particular. But this "film" is a disaster on all counts. The production values are non existent & the "acting" was painful to say the least, also the zombie make up looked like it was bought at a Halloween store. I usually dig anthology movies but this one seems to go out of its way to somehow be worse than mediocre, even that's an insult to mediocrity. I know people use "Found footage" as a way to cover not having a budget to tell a good story. But honestly with this film they need'nt have bothered
I am a Walking Dead fan. I even like Fear the Walking Dead. My standards are not very high. I like zombie movies.
The first six minutes are a mess. Tries to set the tone, but it looks more like badly made home made video than anything else.
The rest is a series of short clips showing the virus effects on different people from different walks of life. Almost a documentary.
The quality of the acting varies wildly. From really really bad and laughable to decent. Most are on the lower side of the scale.
The label "low budget" is evident everywhere, including the so called zombies.
It is not scary, and no surprises.
Should have given them a 2 but I felt sorry for them.
