Threebound

What a great debut from talented actor/writer/director Kate Forsatz. She has put together a fresh cast to tell this smart, thoughtful story of a couple trying to manage their mutual attraction in light of their recent breakups. Of course the heart triumphs - but in a way that makes sense for anyone who can relate to the complexities of modern life. Not a fairy tale, but real life adults willing to take a calculated risk on each other and on love. Funny, touching.

I was sold on this movie from it's original premise, and fortunately for me it delivers. It fulfills it's potential with lots of fun and witty moments, but also a lot of rawness, honesty and insights. The acting is very strong, and the dialogue is so natural and interesting, that I was always engaged with the characters. They are flawed but believable, likeable and relatable. This film will make you feel a lot of emotions and connect with you on multiple levels.

Fun rom come set in a great city with a very interesting premise. Well written, acted and directed. Worth a watch!

Thre3bound is an amazing and refreshing indie spin on the classic rom-com and is anything but predictable. It showcases through a very honest lens the trials and tribulations of navigating relationships, as well as a spectacular glimpse into the wild ride known as being a New Yorker, and how the two coincide. The screenplay is modern and genuinely written, and examines the entire spectrum of emotions one goes through after picking the pieces up and putting them back together again after a life setback. It's delivered so effortlessly by the lead actors and supporting cast that it's hard not to feel as if you're a fly on the wall living out each hilarious and cringeworthy moment with them. And if you've ever lived in or spent any amount of time in NYC, the cinematography, editing, and score will make you fall in love with the city's vibrantly beating heart over and over again. A must watch that's guaranteed to give you the feels.

A wonderful character driven story that had many moments where it effortlessly made me laugh. Each character brought a presence and unique energy that meshed well with each other, I also enjoyed the new fresh take on "rebound" relationships, with a really interesting idea for the story. I highly recommend it!!
