Examiner par planktonrules

This is a charming short film. At first, I was a bit put off because it seemed as if the film was made by someone with a shoe fetish, though I guess this is all pretty harmless in this case. The camera focused a lot on feet as did the plot--plus the main character in the film first noticed a gorgeous woman NOT for her face or body but because of her black boots. Odd yes, but not so creepy that it impacted my enjoyment of the film (unlike another short, BABETTE'S FEET).

The film begins with our exceptionally shy hero on an elevator. A beautiful woman steps on with her flashy boots and practically every guy is attracted to her (and the camera keeps focusing on the boots). The guy wants to ask her out, but is just too shy. So later, he follows her to a housewarming party and builds up the courage to crash the party to meet her. Things DON'T go as he'd want at first, but things somehow manage to work--and it's all very cute and a nice little romance.

Well made, interesting and well made--this one is a winner. But why all the shoe shots?!
