A very good and unpretentious love story
I watched "Pingwin" (The Penguin) when I was a teenager and also a couple of years ago. To me, it is a very good film about love. A profound psychological study of the emotions and feelings of a boy in love. From the first minute of the film, Penguin (Andrzej Kozak) introduces us to his story of unhappy love for a beautiful girl (Krystyna Konarska) who is too cool to look at him and notice him. I also liked the fresh and interesting internal monologue of the main character. Those intimate confessions clearly sketch a portrait of his personality. Another asset of "The Penguin" may be the portrait of the youth of the 1960s.
