His influences include the films of Steven Spielberg, Rob Marshall, Tom Hooper, Jean-Luc Godard, Yorgos Lanthimos, Alfred Hitchcock, Stanley Kubrick, David Fincher, Terrence Malick, Greta Gerwig, Christopher Nolan, Damien Chazelle and Jon M. Chu to name a few, as well as the TV series, Mr. Robot (2015).
