Lee Child's original Jack Reacher novels and Amazon's Reacher have not resolved one question about Neagley's story, but her upcoming spinoff series could finally provide some answers. Even though the announcement of the Neagley spinoff show may seem surprising, Amazon's Reacher has been paving the way for it for quite some time. From season 1 itself, Reacher intentionally drifted away from its source material to accommodate Neagley into its narrative.

Reacher season 2 even risked diluting the significance of the titular character to portray how talented Negleay is as an investigator. Given how Reacher has been gradually setting the stage for the Neagley spinoff, it is hard not to be excited about what it will bring to the table. However, what makes the show even more interesting is that it might finally delve deeper into Neagley's backstory and explore one aspect of her personality that has not been fully addressed in Lee Child's Jack Reacher books.

Much like the details of the case, the characters in Rian Johnson's upcoming Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery are being kept secretive, but Josh Brolin has just given audiences a small clue about his suspect/character. To this point, audiences have been drip-fed information about Wake Up Dead Man, and Josh Brolin is the latest to give fans more clues concerning the project. Speaking to Total Film, Brolin revealed a significant detail about his character. "Im playing a priest," the actor said. Father Frank is one of the very few characters in the movie who have had their names revealed. For Brolin, playing Father Frank seemed like destiny manifesting in an unusual way.

As previously reported, filming for Marvel Studios Avengers: Doomsday is expected to commence early next year, and we now have some production updates courtesy of insider Daniel Richtman.

According to the scooper, the actors playing the movie's main heroes will each film for about a month starting in March, while those with smaller supporting roles will shoot for a week or two. Robert Downey Jr. (Doctor Doom) will reportedly be on set the longest, filming for about three months. The entire production is expected to take around five months.

It's no surprise that Doom will have a major role, but this could indicate that previous rumors that the villain will actually be the main focus of the movie were accurate. This wouldn't necessarily mean that the other characters will be short-changed - after all, Thanos was arguably the main character in Avengers: Infinity War.

As any Fantastic Four fan worth their salt knows, Reed Richards and Doctor Doom have a highly complicated relationship, with the pair starting out as close friends and ultimately becoming bitter enemies. Even so, a mutual respect remains, and they have reformed an alliance several times over the years.

The 52-year-old is known for joking around on Good Morning America and delivering funny lines and reactions.

Last week, viewers saw and heard Strahan’s sour reaction to football news during an installment of his weekday program.

However, this past weekend, he had fun with cost-ars on Fox NFL Sunday, including Howie Long and Terry Bradshaw.

Unfortunately for Rob Gronkowski, the humorous moment arrived at his expense.

Poland’s Camerimage Film Festival will hand its Special Award for a Production Designer to six-time Oscar nominee Nathan Crowley during this year’s edition, which runs November 16-23 in Toruń.

Crowley is perhaps best known internationally for his longtime collaboration with Christopher Nolan. He has received five Oscar nods for his collaborations with the British filmmaker. Their films include Tenet, The Dark Knight, Dunkirk, Interstellar, and The Prestige. Crowley was also nominated for Damien Chazelle’s First Man.

Beginning his career at the Brighton School of Art in the UK, Crowley moved to Hollywood in the 1990s where he landed a Second Unit Art Director role on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. At the end of 2023, Amazon announced it would enter its AVOD era by introducing ads to Prime Video, the movie and TV streaming service that comes bundled with its $14.99/month Prime membership. Debuting in 2007, Wizards of Waverly Place follows the Russo family as they try to balance their lives as run-of-the-mill sandwich shop owners who also happen to be powerful wizards. The bulk of the series hinged on the internal conflict within the Russo siblings, as they each trained to one day compete to be the sole recipient of their family's magical abilities.

When the series went off the air in 2012, the story had been neatly wrapped up with each of the family members being served a happy ending.

The Netflix TV series, Arcane, is ending soon, but the streaming platform already has the perfect replacement show coming up. The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been such a coveted hub of entertainment that it’s either the place where everyone is or everyone wants to be. The popularity of the franchise comes with its own perks, as you get access to unlimited resources, and people from every country that has an accessible film theater become familiar with your work. But it has its downsides because the franchise works like a conveyor belt and every project has a stupid deadline that stifles creativity. And since a lot of directors are in there, sometimes for very long periods of time, it’s interesting to see how the process of making a Marvel project has affected their vision and whether that change is palpable in their post-mcu career. The series is a sequel series to the popular Disney channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, set years after the events of the original Disney Channel TV series. In the series, eldest sibling Justin Russo was living a peaceful lifestyle without magic when the opportunity to be a mentor to a young wizard comes along. Today, the teaser trailer and poster for the upcoming feature film Thunderbolts* debuted. The highly-anticipated film will open in theaters on May 2, 2025. The poster includes the tagline, “Careful Who You Assemble.”

Avengers: Infinity War premiered a long time ago, but it is still considered to be one of the best and most popular comic book movies of all time. Infinity War was a massive standalone thing, but it also paved the way for Endgame, the movie that changed the game for Marvel and the MCU, ending an era and changing the state of the universe’s narrative going forward, and that “forward” had its good and bad moments.

But, while we saw a lot in that movie, there are some scenes that did not make it into the final cut, either ending up as deleted extras or never being filmed at all.

Based on a recent confirmation, we found out that an epic idea was pitched to the directors, but the Russo Brothers ultimately rejected it, denying us of an epic meet-up that would have shaken the foundations of the MCU.

Avengers: Infinity War saw Josh Brolin’s Thanos take his daughter Gamora to the barren planet Vormir to retrieve the Soul Stone. Fans were surprised to see a familiar face as the keeper of the Infinity Stone, Red Skull. Hugo Weaving couldn’t return to film the sequences of the character and the role was taken over by Ross Marquand. During his latest interview, Marquand revealed one idea from the comics that never made it to the film.

One of the most impressive things about both Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame was their ability to focus on the primary characters while still giving minor fan favorites memorable moments. One such moment would be when Kong, Miek, and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) are found playing Fortnite in New Asgard. After some speculation, a long-standing mystery around that scene was cleared up by the Russo brothers.

In a new interview with Variety where the actor guessed which lines belong to some of his most famous movies and TV shows, Bucky Barnes came up a lot. The superhero role is one of his most famous parts and has returned to Bucky many times over the last decade. Once upon a time, there was to be an animated series on Netflix that would have been based on the popular role-playing card game Magic: The Gathering. The Russo brothers, who now have their hands full with the next two installments in the Avengers franchise, were once attached to the animated property, but that project would never materialize due to creative differences. After the Russos departed, Jeff Klein, known for the series Transformers: Prime, would take over as executive producer with Brandon Routh providing his voice.

That version would also not materialize, and The Hollywood Reporter is now revealing that Netflix has pushed forward with a newer attempt. This new incarnation would now be headed up by Terry Matalas, whose credits include Star Trek: Picard and the upcoming Vision Disney+ MCU series. Matalas will be the showrunner for the new Magic: The Gathering animated series and production on the show is set to start soon.

Terry Matalas is now set as the series’ showrunner, as revealed during Netflix’s annual Geeked Week event. The new take on the series is now in production. The show is produced in partnership with Hasbro Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast. Plot details for the new iteration are being kept under wraps.

There had recently been widespread speculation that the show was no longer moving forward at Netflix. Originally announced in 2019, the first iteration of the series was overseen by the Russo brothers of MCU fame. But then Jeff Kline was announced as the new executive producer and creative lead on the show in 2021 after the Russos departed over creative differences, with Brandon Routh being announced as voicing the series lead not long after.

Since then, however, there has been virtually no news about the series.
