Veronica was lucky enough to have met late, great legendary actor, singer & musician, Scatman Crothers along with his lovely wife, Helen, while traveling across country with her mom, Joann, on a Greyhound bus in the early 80's. She said they were a very sweet, humble couple who spoke with her mother for several hours into late night. Veronica mentioned that it was lovely to see the couple, holding hands like newlyweds most of the trip.
