Has the rarest eye color in the world - Central Heterochromia, blue with gold in the middle around the pupil of the eye. Less than .04 percent of people are born with it.

He is of Scottish, Irish, Icelandic, and Polish descent.

While filming as Wyatt Earp in the western mini-series, "Gunslingers," he flew back and forth between Santa Fe, New Mexico, (where the production was being filmed on location,) and Los Angeles, CA filming another project. After several weeks of filming in both locations, thinking he was just exhausted, he later found out he had Walking Pneumonia. The following year, "Gunslingers" was nominated for two Emmy Awards.

Was classmates, and in the same platoon and squad, with US Director of National Intelligence and former US Presidential candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, when they were Officer Candidates at the Alabama Military Academy. Both of them were Honor Graduates.

He is of the same bloodline of the soldiers of Poland's Modlin Army who fought off the Third Reich German Panzer Division in World War II, saving thousands of Prussian and Jewish refuges from being slaughtered by Nazi SS Soldiers. The fortification where the stand took place was named Modlin Fortress in honor of the soldiers of the Modlin Army who fought and died there.
