Is of Jewish, German, and Hungarian heritage on her mother's side.

Has two younger brothers, Zack Anderson (born 1990) and Craig Anderson (born 1993).

Is a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kown Do. She has been doing Karate for 18 years.

Is of American Indian (Cherokee and Blackfoot), Irish, and English heritage on her father's side.

In 2011, Heather started Curtain and Lights Theatre Company in Decatur, Alabama. Curtain and Lights Theatre Company is dedicated to providing family-friendly theatre.

While playing "Kay Banks" in the final performance of Curtain and Lights Theatre Company's production of "Father of the Bride", Heather suffered a migraine headache. She finished the show despite the fact that she temporally lost her peripheral vision and nearly passed out during the final scene of the show.

Performed the National Anthem with her High School Choir at an Atlanta Braves Game in 2002 and at an Colorado Rockies Game in 2004.

Acted and sang in a touring Choir production that performed at Churchill Downs Race Track in 2001.

Following the 2014 run of Curtain and Lights Theatre Company's production of "The Diary of Anne Frank," the cast and crew were asked by the Jewish Federation of Huntsville and North Alabama to perform an encore performance of "The Diary of Anne Frank" for the Holocaust Remembrance Day service. The cast played to a sold out crowd at the University of Alabama at Huntsville on April 19, 2015.
