A horrific adventure soaked in blood, salt, and vengeance, Blood Red Beach is a supernatural slasher that follows a cursed pirate hellbent on revenge — and anyone who sets foot on his island will pay the price.

It will be released on Blu-ray ($20), DVD ($15), and VHS ($30) on August 1 via Mad Angel Films. A Collector’s Box — featuring the Blu-ray and a curated selection of exclusive collectibles, limited to 50 — is also available for $60.

It’s summertime which means one thing in the cinemaverse: shark movie season! We have already been served fin-ematic releases like Under Paris from Netflix and Something in the Water over the past couple of months, but Mad Angel Films adds one more helping to our “shark”-cuterie plate with their horror-comedy Graveyard Shark.

The Indiegogo-funded feature tells the story of cryptid hunter Abby Wescott trying to uncover the existence of Graveyard Shark—an urban legend in the town of Willsboro Point who has been racking up quite the body count. Her investigation leads her to Captain Issac Seyburn, who knows the creature’s backstory all too well and may be able to help in her quest. She assembles a team of current Graveyard Shark survivors to eliminate the baddie, but they first have to overcome their own personal fears, especially Abby. And that synopsis is as serious as it gets.

One of this year’s best theatrical releases hits Peacock as we head into the weekend, and it’s joined by four other brand new horror movies and the final season of a hit Netflix horror series.

First up, Universal’s ballerina vampire horror movie Abigail has already been available at home for a little while now, but today the film began streaming exclusively on Peacock.

If you’ve missed it up to this point, get on that Asap. It’s one of the year’s best.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her positive review here on Bloody Disgusting, “Radio Silence’s ballerina vampire movie is a bloody blast.” Her review continued, “It’s savagely inventive in terms of its vampiric gore, offering a thrill ride with sharp, pointy teeth.

Indie shark attack horror movies are a dime a dozen, but every so often one comes along that looks quite a bit different than the others. That’s the case with Graveyard Shark, an upcoming indie horror effort that looks to feature a pretty awesome practical man-shark costume.

From director Matthew A. Peters, Graveyard Shark recently raised finishing funds on Indiegogo, and the DVD, Blu-ray and even VHS tape are up for pre-order from Mad Angel Films.

According to the site, pre-orders will begin shipping on July 19, 2024.
