Wetnwildradio Films announced today that pre-production is slowly beginning on the last entry into the Deadlands zombie film franchise. This third entry will delve into the post apocalypse and follow a small group of survivors who are trying to exist in the zombie infested world.
This final entry was the original sequel to 2006's Deadlands: The Rising, however during re-writes characters from the original Deadlands 1 were replaced with newer characters, but the screenplay retained its original storyline. Gary Ugarek, writer and director of Deadlands 1 & 2, has been joined by Women's Studies scribe Lonnie Martin for this outting.
