Anecdotes

Born and raised in New York City, Alex attended the High School of Performing Arts and appeared as an extra in Alan Parker's movie "Fame".

Alex has a scar on his right cheek from a slashing on his 25th birthday at 42nd and 7th Avenue.

Has a parallel career as a college professor, as well as teaching high school youth through Bank Street in NYC. Alex considers this work a privilege.

Worked for many years behind the scenes as a theater stagehand and film technician (IATSE Local One & 52).
