Music is one of God's greatest gifts! Songs of all types are featured throughout the Good Book, from songs that glorify and praise the Triune God, to warrior songs celebrating victories, to aching lamentations from grieving hearts of God's people, to "Song of Solomon" love songs recounting the joys of romance. I love all kinds of music, from bouncy soundtrack and TV scores, to rock'n'roll (a healthy way to express righteous indignation and respond to everyday injustices and heartaches), to jazz, latin, and rhythm & blues (which seem to best celebrate some of the "grey" areas of life and the sentiments of urbanity!), to folk/country (a great way to commemorate the working class spirit of America, especially the Heartland!).
