Cast member Roderick Teerink , was additionally used as a language consultant for the scenes in which English was spoken. Eventhough "Licorice" was eventually still misspelled in the film's marketing materials. This is for the film - 22 sai no wakare - Lycoris: Ha mizu hana mizu monogatari (2006).

Roderick has appeared in numerous television episodes and ad campaigns with his son Devante and daughter Nyah, who in turn have multiple credits as child actors themselves.
