Sutherland makes it his mission to hunt down the culprit and protect his country, all the while helping keep an innocent tech CEO safe from the crossfire.

The second season of The Night Agent is slated to make its epic premiere on January 23, 2025, with the exhilarating series being favorably compared to the Prime Video smash hit Reacher and its equally formidable hero, Jack Reacher.

The Night Agent was a major success on Netflix when it premiered in 2023. Ahead of the highly anticipated Season 2, fans are already getting up to speed with the high-octane thriller.

Per Netflix, The Night Agent is now back on the charts ahead of the new season premiering next week. Season 1 added 2.3 million views this week, debuting in the 10th spot in the global charts after spending 12 weeks in the Top 10. At the same time, the first season defended its title on Netflix's Most Popular TV list, where it sits in the seventh spot with 98.2 million views.

Netflix’s action thriller series, The Night Agent, finally returns for its second season, and FBI agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) will likely find himself in the middle of yet another conspiracy. Based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk, the show’s first season landed on Netflix two years ago, and viewers immediately flocked to the series. With its Tomatometer at 74% and its Popcornmeter at 78% on Rotten Tomatoes, The Night Agent gained a solid fanbase rather quickly. In the first four days after it premiered, the show became the third-most-viewed debut series on Netflix, and within a month, it became the platform’s sixth-most-viewed series. It was renewed for a second season shortly after the first one debuted, and it has already been renewed for a third ahead of Season 2’s premiere.
