Biographie

Named after the title character in the film Jason et les Argonautes (1963).

Starting making films at age 10, with his first film as writer and director, Split Second (1994).

Won best film for his short Zombies in the Wood (2004) at the 2 Days Later Short Film Competition 2004.

In 2005 alone, he made 16 films as director, beginning with Zombie Apocalypse (2005), and running through Beast (2005).

Used to collaborate regularly with Hreiðar Oddsson between 2012 and 2015.

I have had some extremely bad times making films, mad enemies, had financial problems, bad reviews that can hurt etc, but I love making films and it keeps me happy.

I like trying new things & experimenting when it comes to filmmaking.

I have a very wide variety of taste when it comes to watching films, I honestly watch just about anything, but my favourite genre is obviously horror, especially independent horror. I like films that stand out and leave a big impact on me that is usually due to a shocking nature and being controversial.

Sick Bastard is my first true feature film shot in the beginning of 2006. It is kind of the English version of Andreas Schnaas's Violent Shit (1989).

I used Home Made (2008) as a test for a Dogme 95 style film. I was influenced by Lars von Trier's The Idiots (Les idiots (1998)), and a German film called Suicide that Vipco released (FinalCut.com (2001)). I used the Dogme 95 style of filmmaking to make a gritty snuff film, which was cheap to make, and is a typical horror thing to do
