Dark Star Pictures has acquired U.S. distribution rights to found footage horror movie What Happened to Dorothy Bell?, from writer/director Danny Villanueva Jr.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master and A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child star Lisa Wilcox appears in an eerie new teaser for upcoming found footage film What Happened to Dorothy Bell? The coming-of-age horror film from writer/director Danny Villanueva Jr. is set to make its premiere later this month at Fantastic Fest 2024.

The found footage film “follows Ozzie Gray, who, after uncovering disturbing revelations from her early childhood involving her late grandmother, Dorothy Bell, sets out to video document her investigation into these events. Seeking answers, she visits the library that Dorothy died in to try to communicate with her spirit. As her attempts become increasingly desperate, Ozzie unwittingly awakens something far more malevolent than she could have ever imagined.”

Asya Meadows and Michael Hargrove (Nia DaCosta directed and Jordan Peele produced Candyman) star alongside Lisa Wilcox.

Ubisoft has released two games in 2024 so far, Skull and Bones and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and while the former has failed miserably, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has received mostly positive reviews from fans and critics who have loved the return of the popular franchise.

The Lost Crown has been praised by Metroidvania fans and is coined as one of the best games in the genre. The developers have now announced that the game will be getting updates, which include free new content and game modes for players, with the first update coming soon.

Not Skull and Bones, Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia Is Getting a Massive Update

While Skull and Bones struggle to retain players, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is getting a huge update.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a side-scrolling Metroidvania title developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and released on January 18 this year.

A quest item named the Key of Kings must be found to open the Palace of King Darius in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The Palace is one of the last locations Sargon needs to visit before the end of the game, but it is impossible to reach without the Key. You'll have to backtrack through past areas you've visited to obtain this important item.

"Find the Key of Kings" is an objective given during your adventure's "Father and Son" main quest. Many sections of the Citadel will have already been explored at this point in Prince of Persia: TLC, but some hidden rooms may still be unexplored. Find Fariba in different regions, so you can buy maps of an area for 50 Time Crystals as you continue to travel around Mount Qaf.

One of the rooms in the Hyrcanian Forest area of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown contains a statue puzzle that can be quite difficult to solve. A riddle provides some clues to arranging three figures in certain directions for a rare reward. Those who interpret this clue correctly can unlock an item used to upgrade Sargon's weapons for their continuing journey throughout the Citadel.

You must have all the time powers available in Prince of Persia: TLC before entering the Pit of Eternal Sands to reach the puzzle. Certain abilities gained with Simurgh Feathers allow you to travel to previously inaccessible sections of the Forest, such as the Soma Tree. The statues lie in a room close to where the Soma Tree and Hyrcanian Forest areas meet in the Citadel.

Simurgh Feathers are rewarded for beating major bosses like Jahandar or for overcoming challenges found in secret rooms scattered across Mount Qaf.

Diana Muldaur played three different characters in the Star Trek franchise, all of whom happened to be doctors. In her appearances on Star Trek: The Original Series, Muldaur played Dr. Ann Mulhall and Dr. Miranda Jones. The best tool in Sargon's arsenal in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is an Athra Surge, a strong technique that unleashes the Immortal's channeled spirit into various attacks. These moves all have unique properties designed for different encounters with enemies across the Citadel. However, the limited amount of Surges you can equip makes some abilities better to have than others.

Sargon can have only two Athra Surges equipped at a time, but you can easily switch them out by resting at a Wak-Wak Tree. Similar to how you would change out your best Amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, unlocked Athra abilities can be mixed and matched in a custom loadout of sorts for Sargon. Feel free to experiment with Surge combinations to see which two work best together.

A particular improvement may change a difficult boss fight into a much easier encounter. Since many upgrades are very cheap toward the start of the game, you may have a hard time choosing one.

Many of the upgrades you can apply to Sargon come from The Mage vendor in The Haven area of the Lower City or from the goddess Kaheva in her Forge. If you explore the world and complete quests, you're sure to collect a lot of Time Crystals. While crystal ore deposits, boss battles, and treasure chests offer plenty of goodies, they don't respawn. This means that the further you get into the game, the fewer Time Crystals you can collect through quests and exploration. Luckily, Sargon has some renewable sources of income available to him.

Even though there is a remake of the classic and adored Sands of Time in development, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is the next installment in Ubisoft’s popular franchise and may shake things up for the series in a very positive manner. This is a brand-new title that is not directly connected to previous installments and the first major release in the franchise since 2010’s Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands. The Lost Crown is a 2.5D platformer game that leans into the more classic Prince of Persia experience rather than the third-person perspective that was offered by the last release.

Instead of telling the tale of the unnamed Prince, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown follows the story of Sargon, a warrior who is part of a clan known as The Immortals.

In the final episode of the second season of "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds," called "Hegemony," audiences were introduced to a young Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, played by actor Martin Quinn. Scotty was, of course, the chief engineer on the starship Enterprise in the original "Star Trek," and was played by actor James Doohan. In a truly novel casting twist, however, Quinn is actually from Scotland, having grown up in the Gallowhill area of Paisley. Doohan was Canadian, affecting a broad Scottish dialect for the role. Simon Pegg, who played Scotty in the notorious Kelvin timeline movies, is from Gloucestershire in England. His Scots accent was a little better.

For many American and Canadian viewers of the original "Star Trek," Doohan's Scottish brogue was taken as 100% accurate. One can only assume none of them had met an actual Scot, however, as reports from the Isles describe Doohan's accent as pretty unilaterally...
