Pierpaolo Piccioli is out at Valentino, and Alessandro Michele is in.

The fashion house confirmed earlier in the week that the 56-year-old creative director of the brand exited this week after 25 years with the company.

His last fall 2024 collection was shown during Paris Fashion Week. Valentino said it would not participate in menswear and couture week showings in June amid the news of the transition.

Pierpaolo was named sole creative director of Valentino in July 2016, following the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri to join Dior.

The 34-year-old Madame Web actress headed to lunch with Gucci‘s former Creative Director Alessandro Michele on Monday afternoon (March 25) in Rome, Italy.

Luxury fashion house Valentino and Pierpaolo Piccioli have announced their joint decision to end their collaboration.

“Since 2016, Piccioli, in the role of creative director, has significantly influenced the path of the Maison with his vision, dedication and innovative spirit, influencing a crucial chapter in the history of the company,” said the company in a statement.

Piccioli joined the company 25 years ago and was appointed creative director of the luxury fashion house in 2016. During his tenure, he dressed stars like Florence Pugh and Rihanna for the Met Gala and Zendaya, Emily Blunt and Carey Mulligan for the Academy Awards. He also became known for the bright hue he dubbed Pp Pink, which became a phenomenon and part of the rage for the Barbiecore shade.

Pierpaolo Piccioli‘s time at Valentino is coming to an end.

On Friday (March 22), the 56-year-old Italian designer announced that he’s leaving the luxury fashion house where he’s worked at for the past 25 years.

“Not all stories have a beginning and an end, some live a kind of eternal present that shines with an intense light, so strong that it leaves no shadows. I have been in this company for 25 years, and for 25 years I have existed and lived together with the people who with me have woven the threads of this beautiful story that is mine and ours,” Pierpaolo wrote in a statement in Italian shared on Instagram.

Paris Hilton continues to beat the odds as the 41-year-old just closed the Versace show during Milan Fashion Week.

It seemed that Versace channeled the Barbie-core trend made popular by the upcoming live-action Barbie film and designer Pierpaolo Piccioli of Maison Valentino. Paris gave a whole new meaning to “blushing bride” in head-to-toe pink with a matching veil.

Nicola Peltz stunned while walking down the street with her husband in a white dress.

The actress, who is now Brooklyn Beckham’s wife, was recently spotted walking with Beckham while holding hands and looking amazing.

Peltz recently changed her famous blonde hair for a darker look and now rocks a brunette color with bangs.

She wore a beautiful white dress with a halter neck and an elastic fabric that cinched her waist.

For accessories, she chose a couple of gold bracelets, as well as a silver and gold necklace and a pair of big black shades.

Last but not least, she made sure to pose and show off her diamond engagement ring.
