Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare Trailer: The Poohniverse Expands In Gory New Horror Movie
Image
In the beginning there was Winnie The Pooh: Blood & Honey. Then, there was Winnie the Pooh_: Blood & Honey 2_. And now, as Rhys Frake-Waterfield — the Kevin Feige of effed-up fairytale films — envisioned back in early 2023, the Twisted Childhood Universe of public domain based horrors is set to expand with Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare. Written and directed by Scott Jeffrey (not to be confused with Muppet Babies helmsman Jeffrey Scott), the Tcu's latest childhood crusher is set to see Martin Portlock bring to our screens a slightly more murderous version of the boy who never grew up than Disney's take on the J.M. Barrie fairytale. Check out the bloody first trailer below;

Welp — we don't know about his shadow, but it sure does look like our pal Peter has found his dark side here! Whilst theorists have long contested a dark truth at the heart of Barrie's book (that...

Kevin O'Morrison, Actor in 'The Set-Up' and 'Sleepless in Seattle,' Dies at 100
Alan Baxter, Wallace Ford, Robert Ryan, George Tobias, and Audrey Totter in Nous avons gagné ce soir (1949)
Kevin O'Morrison, a playwright and character actor who appeared in such films as The Set-Up and Sleepless in Seattle, has died. He was 100.

O'Morrison died Dec. 11 at a senior living facility in Lynnwood, Wash., his cousin Jim Davidson told The Hollywood Reporter.

O'Morrison played a prizefighter in the classic film noir boxing drama The Set-Up (1949), directed by Robert Wise and starring Robert Ryan, and was another pugilist in The Golden Gloves Story (1950). In Nora Ephron's Sleepless in Seattle (1993), he portrayed Meg Ryan's father, Cliff.

Occasionally billed as Kenny O'Morrison, he made his movie debut in...

Reliving the joys of an 80s TV Christmas
Jenny Morrill Dec 20, 2016

Russ Abbot, Bullseye, Noel Edmonds and a film we all watched in the same room. Christmas TV was more exciting in the 80s...

Cast your mind back to when Christmas Day wasn't about Doctor Who followed by sticking something on Netflix until it was time to go watch the annual fist fight outside the pub.

See related Looking back at Martin Scorsese's The King Of Comedy The Wolf Of Wall Street review The Wolf Of Wall Street & Scorsese's confrontational films

In the 80s, Christmas was about seeing which fantastic fare the TV had decided to bless us with. Of course, the more prepared among us knew this well in advance, having eagerly pored over the Radio Times/TV Times to check that Jimmy Cricket's Family Laugh 'n' Waz would be shown. There it was – right after Reflections On The Eucharist With The Reverend Paul Leyland.

Nicolas Cage's Generation Game: how to reboot game shows
Jenny Morrill Jun 12, 2017

Jenny has a few tips for successfully rebooting some classic gameshows...

Game shows are one of the few formats that can withstand being rebooted. Some people might even argue that game show reboots are becoming necessary, given the calibre of new ideas being farted out onto the screen. For every Pointless, there's Dale's All Star Celebrity Family Kerplunk On Fire (actually I'd watch that).

See related Doctor Who: Moffat on budget issues, advice for Chibnall Doctor Who: Phoebe Waller-Bridge is now the joint favourite

There are certain shows that could make up a stellar, unbeatable game show line-up, and they should all be brought back immediately. Some brave souls have tried to bring some of these shows back, with varying degrees of success. In some cases perhaps the execution needed a bit of tweaking, but the decision to reboot was the right one.

When a...

Love Island: Jordan entices Zoe with boasts of a big, blue spider... definitely a euphemism
Move over Hannah Elizabeth and Jon Clark, there's a new hormonal couple in the house getting hot and heavy in the hideaway (and making us feel a little bit nauseous in the process).

Step forward love's young dream, Jordan Ring and Zoe Basia Brown.

Towards the end of last night's (June 28) show, which saw Jess Hayes and Josh Ritchie argue drunkenly over Josh's new relationship with Naomi Ball, Jordan and Zoe escaped to the secret hideaway bedroom for some lovin'.

Jordan soon discovered that the bathroom had no camera, and enticed Zoe in with boasts of a big, blue spider. Which - after some mild confusion from both Zoe and the viewer - was most definitely a euphemism.

At first Zoe wasn't prepared to get out of bed for a big, blue spider - and frankly, we didn't blame her - but after Jordan continued to effuse about this "weird,...

Miranda Hart plays down Generation Game rumours: "We are not doing it right now"
It's sad news for Miranda Hart fans, as the actress and comedian revealed she won't be hosting a Generation Game reboot anytime soon.

While Hart revealed she had spoken to the BBC about the show, she said that the story "got massively blown out of order".

Speaking to BBC News about her negotiations with the broadcaster, Hart said: "It was literally an informal chat with the BBC.

"We talked about it and whether the format would work for a modern audience - but that is literally all it was, just a chat, nothing more."

Hart added: "It got massively blown out of order in the press and, no, we are not doing it right now."

The classic game show, which has previously been presented by the likes of Sir Bruce Forsyth, Larry Grayson and Jim Davidson, was reported to be returning last year.

The Miranda star was previously rumoured to...

Jim Davidson on Yewtree arrest: 'It was the worst moment of my life'
Jim Davidson has described the media coverage of his arrest as "the worst moment" of his life.

The comedian was arrested as part of Operation Yewtree in 2013 on suspicion of sexual offences, but no further action was taken against him.

In a preview of his appearance on ITV's O'Brien, Davidson says: "The police were fine. It was just that those headlines were awful. That was the worst moment of my life when I picked up that paper, because it just wasn't true.

"They didn't even bring charges in the end. It lasted 12 months and half a million quid, thank you."

Asked how it affected him, Davidson replied: "It wasn't very nice. It was horrible, absolutely rotten.

"It didn't do anything to me really, because I knew I was innocent.

"That was one thing, but what was the problem was that I thought there were demons in the air. I thought,...

Jim Davidson: 'I'd host Top Gear - if I wasn't banned from driving'
Jim Davidson has revealed he would love to present Top Gear now that Jeremy Clarkson has been axed.

Celebrity Big Brother housemates want Michelle Visage in the final
Eamonn Holmes has quizzed the Celebrity Big Brother housemates as part of their News task.

The first celebs to join Eamonn at the newsdesk were Keith Chegwin, Perez Hilton and Katie Hopkins, who were firstly asked which housemates they thought were being themselves.

Perez said he was being himself, but admitted that he had "been far from happy" during his time in the house.

When questioned about her relationship with Perez, Katie Hopkins admitted: "In the last couple of days, Perez hasn't been such a tw*t… but ultimately my hatred for Perez is still very deep.

"I can't stand the man, I think he should be kicked out of the house, there's nothing about him that I like."

Those comments prompted Keith to wonder if the pair have been "play acting", with Katie Hopkins then angrily questioning if they have actually been seeing the real Keith.

Kavana was the next housemate Eamonn quizzed,...

Celebrity Big Brother: Katie Price vs Katie Hopkins
Watch out Katie Hopkins, Katie Price has officially entered the building...

The former glamour model has been unveiled as the new Celebrity Big Brother housemate following tonight's live eviction (January 16) and we're anticipating what's going to kick off between the pair.

Will they be at each others' throats throughout, or become CBB's most unlikely chums since Jedward and Tara Reid or Dappy and Jim Davidson?

Katie Price and Katie Hopkins definitely have one thing in common - making inappropriate and controversial comments.

But who is the most offensive? We attempt to measure with their most offensive quotes below:

Katie Price on poor old Danny Cipriani's manhood in an extract from autobiography Love, Lipstick and Lies:

"In my experience he was a bit - erm – lean in the most obvious departments. That's why I nicknamed him Danny Chipolata. He can no longer hit any of the right spots on the rugby...

Stars In Their Eyes returns with Harry Hill: Can it work?
One of my happiest memories of TV as a child was the Stars In Their Eyes grand final night. The Matthew Kelly years of the show may look rather quaint in an era of spinning chairs, dancing celebrities and X Factor shoutiness, but it was actually ahead of its time as an entertainment format.

From turning Reg the butcher and Barbara from accounts into stars for five minutes, to public phone votes for the winner, it was in many ways a proto-Pop Idol and X Factor.

The key difference between Stars In Their Eyes and what followed was the complete absence of cynicism or profiteering. It probably helped Basil from Basingstoke raise a few more quid with his George Formby covers act, but there was never any pretense that the show would be life-changing.

Like most Saturday night shows in the pre-Popstars/Simon Cowell/Big Brother era, the heart...

Jim Davidson blasts lack of working class comedy: 'BBC are all lefties'
Jim Davidson has criticised the BBC for having a left-wing bias and said that there isn't enough working class comedy on TV anymore.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner and stand-up comic, who hosted primetime BBC shows such as The Generation Game and Big Break in the '90s, said that modern TV is dominated by university-educated talent.

Watch Jim Davidson talk about political correctness, the BBC and Dappy:

"The BBC are all lefties really. If you sliced the BBC in half, the Guardian newspaper would fall out," he told Digital Spy.

"There was a time when I was growing up, when comedy came from the working class streets of the big cities. Billy Connolly, me, Jasper Carrott, Jethro. All working class lads. And now, they all come from universities and all us old guys are old hat."

Davidson added: "And who is the worst? Me. Since Bernard Manning died,...

Love rats, Lycra & Les Dennis: 13 of the best Celebrity Big Brother stars

1. Jackie Stallone

"Yeah, Jackie," were the only two words uttered from the side of Jackie's heavily siliconed mouth as she entered the house, draped in fur and dripping in jewels. Her entrance soon became one of the most memorable moments from the entire series.

It was part-Jackie's presence, part-Jackie's face that really shocked Brigitte Nielsen back on the show in 2005 when her former mother-in-law entered the house on day five.

The classic game show, which has previously been presented by the likes of Sir Bruce Forsyth, Larry Grayson and Jim Davidson, was reported earlier today to be returning next year for the first time since 2002.

The Miranda star was rumoured to be in talks for the role earlier this year, and appeared on a one-off special of the show for Comic Relief in 2011.

BBC One controller Charlotte Moore told The Guardian: "It will be a modern reinvention of The Generation Game. Miranda will bring a very different flavour to it.

"Her wit and spirit behind it will naturally move it into the modern era. Miranda is brilliant at engaging with people, she loves that interaction. She'll be brilliant."

Miranda Hart 'in talks to host Generation Game revival'
Miranda Hart is said to be in talks to host a revival of The Generation Game for the BBC.

The sitcom actress and comedian is tipped to follow in the footsteps of previous presenters Sir Bruce Forsyth, Larry Grayson and Jim Davidson in the reboot of the classic family programme, which originally launched in 1971.

The show - which last aired in 2002 - saw four teams, each consisting of two family members, compete against each other in a series of challenges in a bid to win prizes.

The BBC has confirmed that the revival is on the cards but insisted that nothing has been confirmed.

A spokesperson said: "It's in the early ideas stage at the moment. Nothing is confirmed and no series [is] planned."

Call The Midwife actress Hart revealed her love of The Generation Game when she interviewed Forsyth for BBC One special When Miranda Met Bruce last year.

Fifteen to One, Catchphrase: Which other game shows should be revived?
It's game show heaven on television right now. Not only do we have all sorts of new formats making their way to screen, but some old favourites are getting a second lease of life, too - from Fifteen to One (airing daily on Channel 4) to the second series of the revived Catchphrase (Sundays on ITV.) But it got us thinking - what other game shows would we like to see return to our living rooms?

Well, we asked that very question to Fifteen to One's Sandi Toksvig and Catchphrase's Stephen Mulhern - and then had a bit of office debate about our own favourites...

You Bet! - Stephen Mulhern (Host, Catchphrase)

"This is an easy question: You Bet! It was one of my favourite TV shows and Matthew Kelly was one of my favourite presenters. I love it.

"I can give you some great examples that still amaze me to this day.

Britain's Got Talent: Could any of these be the winner? - Our verdict
Britain's Got Talent returns for its eighth series this weekend with the usual band of oddballs and aspiring stars trying out for the formidable judging panel.

Digital Spy got the chance to experience what it must be like for the contestants when we went backstage during auditions in Hammersmith, meeting four acts who were taking to the stage later that very day. Do any of them stand a chance of Bgt success? Here's what we think...

Wett 'n' Wilde

Things didn't get off to the best of starts with this act. It is never appropriate to ask a pair of pensioners: "Who is wet(t) and who is wild(e)?" and we messed up by keeping quiet after Pamela revealed herself to be 66 1/2, to which she responded, "You're supposed to say, 'You don't look it'". But once we'd got over that awkwardness, Wett 'n' Wilde were an absolute pleasure and...
