At the end of September, JoBlo Media and Octane Multimedia teamed up to launch a new YouTube channel named JoBlo TV, which hosts multiple feature films to watch for free throughout the week. The genres we’ll be focusing on at JoBlo TV are Action, Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Thrillers – and the free movies we shared this week really delivered the thrills!

This week’s line-up consisted of the sci-fi thriller Loophole, the crime thriller The Beast, and the sci-fi horror film Interpreters. Here’s some information on each of them:

On the JoBlo Movies YouTube channel, we will be posting one full movie every day of the week, giving viewers the chance to watch them entirely free of charge. The Free Movie of the Day we have for you today is the 2019 sci-fi thriller Interpreters, which is also known by the longer title Interpreters: a C & Earth Chronicle – quantum 1. Written and directed by Michael Ryan, Interpreters has the following synopsis:

An unusual perpetrator using advanced technology murders the inhabitants of Sullen Community while a former black operator and Cid Agent investigates with the local police force uncovering a darker scheme and more dangerous threat than anticipated.

Interpreters Trailer & Release Details: "Mark Frost, a former black operator, and homicide detective, recently moved to the remote town of Sullen Community for the quiet life. His quest for a peaceful existence comes to an end when an unusual perpetrator using advanced technology is connected to a string of murders. Frost is thrust into an investigation with the overwhelmed local police uncovering a more deadly threat than anticipated.

"Whatever caused that mayhem... there's no way it was human." High Octane Pics has released an official trailer for a peculiar sci-fi horror film titled Interpreters, which is a short version of the odd "Interpreters: A C & Earth Chronicle - Quantum 1" full title. The film premiered at a small genre festival last year, but that's it, and will be out to watch on VOD this month. An unusual perpetrator using advanced technology murders the inhabitants of "Sullen Community" while a former black operator and Cid Agent investigates with the local police force uncovering a darker scheme involving alien invaders of some sort. The film stars Ace Marrero (who looks too much like Chris Messina), Terry Maratos, Rachel Kylian, Christopher Kriesa, Manny Hernandez, and Ashley Bracken. This is such a dark trailer it's hard to see anything happening. Another of these indie sci-fi films with too ambitious of a concept for the filmmaker to handle.

Marla Sokoloff, Marion Ross and Christina Pickles have been tapped to star in "Flower Girl," a wedding-themed original movie for Hallmark Channel.

Sokoloff plays Laurel, who runs a floral shop with her meddling grandmother, Rose (Ross), and is always planning weddings for everyone but herself. With all of Laurel's friends getting married, she begins to wonder if she will ever find Mr. Right. Unexpectedly, she meets two possible matches, forcing her to choose between her head and her heart.

Pickles plays Evangeline, a friend of Laurel's and the owner of Evangeline's Bridal Bower. Kieren Hutchison, Terry Maratos and Brook Kerr co-star.

"Flower Girl," written by Marjorie Sweeney and directed by Bradford May, is set to air in late 2009. The movie, produced by LG Films Production and Larry Levinson Prods., is exec produced by Larry Levinson. Lincoln Lageson and Eric Heiberg are the producers.
