However, audiences won't have much longer to relive the hit movie on streaming as it's set to leave Netflix soon.

A creepy new trailer for the upcoming horror-sports movie Him has dropped, and it’s already making waves. The film is directed by Justin Tipping and comes from Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions.

The sports-related horror project made its way through production under the title Him last year, aiming for a September 19 theatrical release. Per Collider, I Know What You Did Last Summer will leave Netflix on Aug. 1, becoming one of several feature-length titles to depart from the streaming giant that day. The new horror movie from Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions, Him will release in theaters on September 19, and Empire Online has shared a brand new image this week.

The director of Him is not Jordan Peele but rather Justin Tipping (Kicks), and Tipping explains to Empire Online that while the film may initially seem like a typical sports movie, it ultimately devolves until a full-throated nightmare of an experience.

Tipping tells the outlet, “My instinct was to set it up in a way that it feels like we’re in Friday Night Lights, or a Gatorade or Nike ad. The film debuted at #3 in the domestic box office chart, and it’s not its fault as Hollywood tentpole releases are hogging all the limelight. It is a reboot of the Og classic, which was released in 1997. The film maintains a stronghold at the 3rd rank and is expected to continue until Thursday. On Friday, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released, pushing it further down in the list. The Big 3 – Superman, Jurassic World Rebirth, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps will dominate the box office.

Jennifer Love Hewitt has a brilliant idea, and we’re hoping the 9-1-1 creative team listens to it. On the heels of opening weekend for Jennifer Kaytin Robinson’s I Know What You Did Last Summer, which sees Hewitt reprise the role of Julie James after nearly three decades since originating it, the actress grabbed a seat opposite Tommy Didario on his I’ve Never Said This Before podcast. It was there that she came up with and spitballed her plans for a one-of-a-kind event that would see 9-1-1 pay homage to the iconic slasher franchise.
