(1986) M.K.B. Films "Bebasi" Starring Deepak Parashar ( Replaced NRI actor Zahid Ali), Salma Agha, Javed Khan,Music by Nadeem Shravan, Produced and Directed by Mohan Bhakri. The film got shelved. The film was a remake of "Wait Until Dark". Jaya Bachchan,Vinod Mehra film "Aahat" and Reena Roy movie Apne Dushman, were also remakes of Wait Until Dark.

(1983) Starred in the shelved film Omkar International's " Bedaag" Starring Asha Parekh, Raj Babbar, Moushami Chatterjee , Farooq Shaikh (Replaced Deepak Parashar), Shakti Kapoor, Music by Usha Khanna,Directed by Deepak Bahry .

(1991) Prior to Mahesh Bhatt's Junoon being made, Ramsay Brothers Productions Ltd. were making the shelved film titled "Darr" in 1991 ; Starring :- Deepak Parashar , Mohnish Behl , Hemant Birjee , Amar Upadhyay , Jasmine , Sarika , Preeti Sapru & Anirudh Aggarwal with Manoj Pahwa ; Story -Written by - F.U Fatehchand Ramsay ; Produced by - Tulsi & Shyam Ramsays. ; Dialogues & Screenplay by - Keshu Ramsay ; Directed by - Tulsi and Keshu Ramsay. It was to be a remake of Cat People, just like Mahesh Bhatt's Junoon. When the Ramsay film got delayed, Mahesh Bhatt decided to make the film for his banner and made Rahul Roy the tiger. This angered Deepak Parashar as he already had his costumes etc. ready for the film.Deepak was playing the role of a man who turns into a tiger.

(1984) Starred in the shelved film Jayshree Films Co -Operative Society's (Ahmedabad) "Chhote Babu". Starring Deepak Parashar, Apeksha, Aruna Irani, Raza Murad,Gopi Desai, Satyen Kappu,Neelam Gamadia, Nayana Desai,Dr. Shreeram Lagoo,Story by S.R.Pancholi, Screenplay and Dialogue by Rafiq Zafar, Cinematography T.B. Sitaram, Lyrics by Dev Kohli, Music by M. Kumar, Produced by J.D.More, Directed by Kunwarsinh Thalia.

(1981/1982) Starred in PMP (Prakash Mehra Production) "Jaadugar" Starring Deepak Parashar, Arti Gupta, Produced by Prakash Mehra, Directed by Sushil Malik. Deepak Parashar claimed that after the mahurat Prakash Mehra shelved the film. When he decided to revive the film, some alterations were done with the script.

(1975) Chetan Anand had signed Raaj Kumar, Aamir Khan,Madhuri Dixit, Ved Thappar for the film Takht O Taj (1991).Chetan first wanted to make the film with Amitabh Bachchan and Hema (Replaced Priya Rajvansh) in 1975. He had also recorded the songs with Madan Mohan. But he shelved the film when he realized the budget would be too much. He later tried to revive the film as "Jalal e Akbari" with Raaj Kumar, Deepak Parashar and Hema Malini. Now the film was to be from the point of view of Akbar. This was in 1979. Again the film got shelved. The lead actors also left the film. In 1982, Chetan Anand signed Dilip Kumar,Rishi Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapure. Again the film could not see light of day. In 1990, Chetan Anand spoke to Raaj Kumar about the film and asked him if his son Puru Rajkumar was interested in doing the film and playing the role of Salim. Raaj Kumar stated that Puru was not ready to be an actor. Chetan finally revived the film as Takht O Taj in 1991. Ved Thappar was originally going to play Raaj Kumar's son due to his resemblance to the actor. But due to commercial reasons, Aamir Khan was signed for the role and Thappar was signed for the role of Durjan Singh, originally played by Ajit in Mughal E Azam. The film was later titled Mallika-e-Hind . The film was eventually shelved due to Chetan's bad health. There were stories going around in 1993 that Chetan wanted to make the film with Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri. But the plans never materialized.
