Francis has spent recent years producing corporate work for his company Kiln..Scout was born from an itch to get back into drama, the filmmaker told If..

The Chronicles of Narnia Producer Perry Moore Passes Away Due to Overdose
In a shocking turn of events, Perry Moore, producer behind The Chronicles of Narnia trilogy, was found dead on the floor of his apartment bathroom Thursday morning. A cause of death hasn't been confirmed at this time, but it is being reported that the 39 year-old passed away from an apparent Oxycontin overdose.

Hunter Hill, Perry Moore's live-in partner and co-director on their Sissy Spacek drama Lake City, found the body at 9:30 a.m. inside their shared W. Houston St. home. The news came as a surprise to everyone in the family.

Bill Hill, father of Perry Moore, spoke out on the incident yesterday, saying, "We're in shock. I spoke to my son the night before. He was in a great, great mood. No one was expecting this. We're so sad. He's been able to reach out and touch a lot of people."

Michael Apted Talks The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Down Treader
Ben Barnes as King Caspian and Skandar Keynes as Edmund Pevensie When The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, based on the extremely popular fantasy series by author C.S. Lewis, hit theaters in 2005 it was an instant smash and made $745 million worldwide. It's popularity inevitably led to the making of a sequel, 2008's The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. But when that film failed to have the financial success of its predecessor, it's distributor Walt Disney Pictures opted not to be involved in any further films, leaving the series' producer, Walden Media, to find a new company to partner with. Enter 20th Century Fox, who announced a joint venture with the studio in 2006. After Disney's exiting from the series, Fox decided to pick up the distribution rights for the third film of the series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader, which is...
