Reinert Kiil was in the local paper in Bærum, Norway stating that he didn't like how the Norwegian film industry was run and hoped that they make a fund for feature films with new directors without separate producers. That made many in the Norwegian film industry react in the papers in a positive way.

Reinert Kiil made his first short at the age of 9. Filmed on HI 8 and because he didn't have any cutting room he shot the film in one take.
