The English trio Saint Etienne have announced their new album International, the band’s 13th and final project out September 5th via Heavenly Recordings. As a preview of the new record, the band have released the lead single, “Glad,” which you can stream below.
International is Saint Etienne’s follow-up to last year’s The Night. The new album features producers and collaborators like Confidence Man, Erol Alkan, Vince Clarke, Nick Heyward, Paul Hartnoll of Orbital, and Tim Powell of Xenomania.
“Glad,” the first offering from International, is a sunny dance track co-written and produced by The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands. Jez Williams of Dove plays guitar on the song.
The band dropped a music video, directed by Scrub, alongside the single. The video features groups of people free dancing in a room to the track.
